My friend had a dream similar to this, so I created it into a story!

Roaming around the store at 3 in the morning, I was trying to look for a bunch of snacks for me and my friend Yunho.

He was coming over tomorrow so we could hang out since Halloween was in three days and he would be going on a trip with his boyfriend Mingi so I wouldn't be able to see him.

I decided to get ten bags of chips knowing how Yunho can destroy every single food he lays his eyes on. Family sized while I was at it.

I also got some sweets since I have a sweet tooth. I mean, who can blame me, sweets are good. Next, I got some sodas and water, some smoothies too.

When I finished filling up my basket with a bunch of unnecessary stuff, I went to the front to pay in self-checkout.

I prefer self-checkout then waiting in line. The lines are always long and I don't have the patience for that.

On my way home I was listening to the news to see what's happening where I live. My area was always protected and calm.

We had a safe environment and everyone there knew each other, but it was always good to listen to the news in case of emergencies.

We were all friends and cared for one another, sometimes we even held random parties to stay in touch.

We all knew it was safe, even I, who had trust issues, felt safe, but what the reporter said next, deeply shook me.

"Lately, there have been many killings around and within the area of Star 1024. Families have been reporting their loved ones missing, and later on, they would be found dead. Police believe all these murders are caused by the same person."

"Police have been finding a mark that looks like a tattoo, but is really a mark created by a knife, on all the victims' bodies. The mark looks like a mountain line, police say, and under the mountain, the letter 'M' is carved."

As they went on and on, I got lost in my own world. How could this be happening? Our area was so safe, and apparently, there is a killer running around loose now. I couldn't believe this was actually happening and was hoping that I was just in a dream.

I suddenly remembered the killer was running around loose, and they don't even know who it is. I started looking around, getting nervous, thoughts coming to my head. Thoughts like...

What if the killer comes out of nowhere? I don't even know if it's a girl or guy. What if they kidnap me and no one ever finds me again. What if I suffer for the rest of my life? What if it turns out to be someone I know?

As my thoughts continued, I found myself at the front of my door 3 minutes later. I entered my house and locked my door. I set my keys down and put away all the snacks and drinks I bought at the store.

I decided to shower quickly and go to sleep so I could stop being paranoid about the killer and get enough sleep before Yunho decides to trash my home tomorrow and I would have to end up doing all the cleaning.
