*Lincoln awakens on the last day of summer vacation in his closet bedroom. Tomorrow was his first day of 6th grade & he wasn't sure how to feel. Sure he was excited, but he was also worried. Especially since LJ would be there. Over the remainder of summer, he slowly started regaining their trust, but a nagging feeling tells him something bad will happen. Interrupting his thoughts was a knock at his door.*

?: Bro, can I come in?

LINCOLN: Door's unlocked.

*It was his rockstar sister Luna, with a cupcake in her hand.*

LUNA: Dad made cupcakes. Here.

LINCOLN: Thanks.

LUNA: Are you alright?

LINCOLN: Just a little worried is all. I'm starting middle school tomorrow.

LUNA: I hear that. Don't worry, we'll be around to support you no matter what. Hey where did the cupcake go?

*Lincoln pulls the cupcake out from his pocket, which he eats.*

LINCOLN: Ta da!

LUNA: Wow bro! How'd you do that?

LINCOLN: I read a book on magic tricks at the farm.

LUNA: You should try being a magician.

LINCOLN: I'll think about it.

*Luna then leaves Lincoln to his devices. He plays a game & gets a text from Clyde.*

LINCOLN: "Hey Linc, just came back. Wanna hang out at GGG? We can catch up there." Sure, I'll see you there.

*As much as he wants to tell him & the others about Belle, that should be saved for another time. Lincoln gets dressed & is about to head out, when Deja Vu kicks in as he slips on a certain skateboard.*

LINCOLN: NOT AGAIN!

*He was about to crash into the trophy case, only for LJ to block him from crashing. All the sisters saw the whole fiasco & rushed over to see if Lincoln is alright.*

LJ: Phew, I almost lost my trophies.

LISA: Ahem.

LJ: And Lincoln's alright.

LORI: You really need a better place for that skateboard.

LJ: Better yet, how'd you like to learn how to skate bro?

LINCOLN: Maybe another time. I'm meeting up with Clyde. See you girls later.

LOLA: What about my pageant?

LINCOLN: Another time!

*Lincoln heads out & enjoys some time at Gus' Game & Grub with Clyde. He told Clyde everything that happened.*

CLYDE: You really think they're gonna keep that promise?

LINCOLN: Lisa recorded the whole thing.

*Suddenly, Lincoln's phone rang out of the blue.*

LINCOLN: I need to take this.

CLYDE: I have to get going anyway. See ya buddy.

*Clyde takes his leave & Lincoln picks up the phone.*

BELLE: Hey Snowy~.

LINCOLN: (Two can play that game.) Hey Thicc QT. (Crap, wrong words!)

BELLE: You know it! Just moved into my apartment. Apparently there's this store below it.

LINCOLN: Is it called the Mercado?

BELLE: I think.

*Well, now he has another reason to visit Lori once she's off to college.*

BELLE: Anyway, how are you doing?

LINCOLN: Pretty good actually.

BELLE: Any trouble for the fam?

LINCOLN: No, thankfully everyone's calm today.

BELLE: What say you & I go out on Saturday?

LINCOLN: I should be free. Around lunch? I gotta go to Lori's golf tournament that day.

BELLE: Mind if I join?

LINCOLN: Not at all.

BELLE: Great, see you then.

*She hangs up & Lincoln lets out a sigh. Seeing he was short on money, he heads home. Everything seems to be perfect. His family had indeed changed, he's starting school tomorrow, he might've just found his talent, & he has a smoking hot girlfriend.*

LINCOLN: What could possibly go wrong today?

*His answer comes to him when Chandler hits him with a water balloon filled with ice cold water.*

CHANDLER: Got ya Larry!

LINCOLN: Whatever. (I asked for that.)

*Despite that Lincoln still had a positive attitude. Life has its ups & down, but who are we to know what's going to happen? No matter how bad things may get in the future, Lincoln feels he'll be ready for anything.*

THE END.

What a story to write. Constant struggles & blocks aside, I enjoyed writing this. Thank you for staying patient through out this & I hope you all enjoyed reading this tale of mine. I'm not sure what I'll do next, but I do I'm gonna keep writing. This I swear!
