Dragon hunters!

Daks PoV

"So quick question Leyla, why can't we go after Summer along with Winger?"

Leyla: "Dak! You saw them! Their mates now! Winger can handle this."

Burple: "Yeah! Who knew Summer was such a good dancer and Winger was such a good drawer!"

"Well yeah, of course but shouldn't we be there for uh- emotional support?"

Agro: "Dak, we all want to be there for Summer and Winger, but Wingers got this!"

Cutter: " Yeah! He's great at supportive speeches!"

We all laughed. 

"Yeah, I guess he is"

I didn't know why I wanted to protect Winger so much, but as I stared off in the direction he and Summer had gone, I felt we were more than just rider and dragon. I felt like he was family, REAL family. Like I wasn't just an adopted human child that our mother had found. 

I felt a hand on my shoulder, and turned around to see Leyla beside me, along with Cutter, Agro, and Burple. I squinted and saw two black Silhouettes above the cloud cover coming toward us. It was Summer and Winger!

"You guys are ok!" 

Winger: "What did you think we saw dragon hunters and flew this way as fast and silently as we could in fear?"

"Well, no, but I'm just-"

Summer: "Well we did"

All: "you did!?!"

Burple: "oh, well that doesn't sound too bad, I mean, their only after dragons so-"

We all looked over at him, Leyla had her hands on her hips.

Cutter: "uh, Burps, what do you think we are?"

Burple: "Oh that's easy! We're dragons! Oh. "

Cutter: "Yeah, they're DRAGON hunters....."

Leyla: "Winger, Summer, which way were they headed?"

Summer: "I think  they were going South."

I heard the rustle of wing beats and saw Cutter up in the air looking around using his super sight.

cutter: "Yeah, they're heading South, not coming toward us....HONO. "

"What is it Cutter?"

Cutter: "Uh, is Huttsgalore South of here Leyla?" 

Leyla: "Yeah, it is, its very interesting accually how an average compass can tell the direction in which you ca-"

"Yea uh, sis, that's great, but staying in topic?"

Leyla: "oh, right, yes, hHuttsgalore is South of here. Why?"

Cutter: " Well, Chief dDuggard might have some unwanted guests"

All: "The Dragon Hunters!"

Burple: "Steve!"

We all turned to look at him. 

Burple: "I mean The Dragon Hunters!"

Leyla: "what do they want with dragons?"

"I dobt know, but come on everyone! We can talk about what they want or why we are here back at the roost after we get rid of those Dragon Hunters!"

Leyla: "Yeah, and we WILL talk."

"Ok, ok. Lets go!"

Little did they know, getting rid of Dragon Hunters is harder than they thought........
