13 year old Tsukasa pov:
"My parents haven't come home yet... it's my birthday and I just turned 13. I hope they're bringing Saki home so we can play together in so excited!!"
Suddenly the door opened, that must mean my parents are home!!
"Honey we have a surprise for you!" my parents said
"What is it?!?" I asked.
"Your sister has been office released out of the hospital, she only needs monthly visits now" They said to me.
"REALLY? YAY!!" I screamed in excitement!
I saw them handing Saki a present, that's probably her coming at home gift, I can't wait for mine!! But as time passed on they didn't even hand me a present, so I asked them, "Mom, Dad where's my present?"
"Honey what would you even need a present for...?" They asked confused!
I knew it. I knew they'd forget it's the same almost every year. Should I remind them should I not...? I probably shouldn't after all, my beloved sister finally came home after all these years so, why just not tell them on my next birthday? My birthday happens every year so it's fine.
Time Skip
One year later:
"Happy thirteen birthday Saki!" We all yell at Saki! I can't wait for my birthday it's also so close!! Hopefully they remember this year I just gotta wait patiently, be a good example for Saki.
I wonder what my birthday presents gonna be, the last time I got one it was craft supplies, oh I really hope they know what I like.
On Tsukasa's birthday:
Oh so far, no one's said anything, I'll just walk up to them and remind them!
"Mom what's todays date? Dad what's todays date?" I asked.
"It's May 17 why?" They were very confused..
Okay I should just tell them, it's fine, they probably will get it back in their heads.
"No Silly. It's my birthday!"
"TSUKASA WE ARE SO SORRY, WE WHERE JUST SO BUSY THAT WE FORGOT... please forgive us." My parents screamed.
"Not your fault, you missed my 7,11,12,13 birthday..!" I said sadly
"Tsukasa go get your sister down, we need to celebrate your birthday!" They stared at me
"Okay" I said
And with that I am now currently at a Carnival to celebrate my birthday! I'm glad they let me celebrate it with them this year.
