The Greatest Love

CHAPTER FOUR

Love tries to calm down soon after they left thr classroom. "Why is he being such a big meanie!" She wailed as Dylan tried to get her to relax.

"Calm down, Love. Remember, he didn't mean to."

That seems to stop Love from her wailing. Dylan took out an Ipad from her tote bag and switch it on to let Love watch her Disney Princesses.

Only watching Disney helps Love to fully relax and calm down.

Everyone in school knows about Love and her being out of class is normal. She tends to fidget and students get distracted so most of the time she's sent out of class within the first 5 minutes of lesson.

Even though it's common seeing her outside class and people think she's dumb because she misses all those classes, but Love is really smart and she produce results. That's one of the reasons why the school lets her do whatever she wants. It has definitely helped her so far.

"Heh, Dylan! Look! Its Ariel!"

Love enjoys watching disney. It's all she ever watch. Since birth, Love only watch Disney films. She won't have it any other way and Dylan's used to it.

Dylan loves Love and she will do anything to protect Love.

Love is a very gullible person and people tend to use that to their advantage. She's been through alot.

Once, this guy used to smack Love's head with force whenever she talks because he finds her too noisy. Dylan punched him.

Then there was this one girl who would always pinch Love until she had bruises all over when she fidgets to get her to stop. Dylan chopped her hair off.

Also, there was this teacher who likes to touch Love in inappropriate places. Dylan video him before slapping him back and forth and sent the video to the principal and the teacher's wife.

The news spread around quickly and nobody dares to mess with Love anymore. Even during the periods where Dylan went on vacation, leaving Love all by herself.

Throughout the years, Love's circle of friends got larger, her protection doesn't just stop in school anymore. Love enjoys going on walks around her neighbourhood and she always stop to talk to her neighbours and she also tend to talk to shop owners who open their shops along the street. You can say she's well known in town because everyone knows Love.

Everyone takes a liking to Love and if they see her in trouble, they won't hesitate to help her out. That's why people are afraid to bully Love. She's like the town's precious jewel. Harm Love, and almost everyone in town will be behind your back chasing after you with any weapons they can grab hold on.

Kian can't stop replaying the look of utter hurt on Love's face. He's not sure why he feels bad, guilty even, after snapping at her like that. It's just not normal for him to feel this way.

She looks so vulnerable, so hurt. Wanting to stop this nonsense, Kian decides that he's going to apologize to her right then.

After class ends, he walk out to find Love. After wandering around in school, he's still not able to find her.

It's either he ask around or wait until he bump into her again. So, he decided to just head towards his next class.

Yet, it seems like his mind isn't going to stop the replay until she's happy and smiling again. For the whole of his next lesson, Kian is just reminded of how he snapped at her and also of how she looked after that.

With an angry sigh, he remind himself to look for her after school and that he better get this done and over with by today.

Soon, school ended and not wanting to miss the chance to apologize to Love today, he rushed out of class. He saw Love getting into her car and he quickly run over to stop her.

Love pull open her car door only for it to be shut close by Kian. She turns around and meet Kian's eyes. As soon as she see him, her eyes widen before it's filled with hurt. She quickly look down, not meeting his gaze.

"Erm, Love, I just want to say that I'm sorry for snapping at you in class just now."

Love heard his apology, look up and smile. "It's okay, I forgive you. Lets be friends!"

Kian froze. "Friends?" The word sounds foreign, even to himself.

Love laugh and formally introduce herself. "Hi, I'm Love and it's nice to meet you!" She smiles a big smile towards Kian, waiting for him to introduce himself.

"I know."

With that, Love facepalmed herself real hard.

"Come on, you can do better than that!"

Sighing, kian continued, "I'm Kian."

"Yay! Now off we go! Your house or mine?" Love claps her hands in glee and waited.

"Woah, wait, what? Who said anything about houses?"

"We're friends now. Friends go to each other houses, get their wifi connected and share food, isn't it? It's what I do with my friends. Is that wrong?" Love tilts her head to one side with a puzzling look on her face.

Kian gave up and since it's awkward going to Love's house, they decided to go to his instead.

They arrive at their destination and got out of the car. Even on the outside, they could hear the loud noises coming from inside the house. Kian went to unlock his front door and let Love in. Malcolm, Ryan, Vincent and Lindsey heard the keys rattle and expected Kian to walk in but stopped what they were doing when they saw Love skipping in.

"Who are you?"

"What are you doing in our house!"

"Are you Kian's girlfriend?"

"What's your name?"

Love laugh as she's bombarded with questions. "Hi, I'm Love. It's nice to meet you all. What's your names?"

"Malcolm the Mighty."

"Ryan."

"Vincent at your service, M'lady."

"I'm Lindsey."

"What's your rewationshwip with Kian?" Lindsey asks, her face scrunch up as she struggles to pronounce the long word 'relationship'.

Kian step into the house and answers, "We're just friends."

His siblings hear what Kian just said and they all laugh, "Friends?"

"Kian? Friends? Papa said those two words has never got along well!"

With that, another round of laughter was set off. Even Love can't help but chuckle. She glanced at Kian, and soon after, she's laughing out equally loud with her hands on her belly and her face turning red.

They soon cool down and Love played with all of them while Kian sat on the sofa watching them.

Love fits right in, it's as if she's one of them. Lindsey brought up the idea of watching movies and Kian got up to select the movie.

"What do you want to watch?"

"Disney!"

"Disney!"

Lindsey and Love both shouted out at the same time. They looked at each other and said, "I love Disney!"

They two starts talking about all things Disney and the four guys groan.

Kian placed the 'Brother Bear' disc into the player and they all quieten down when the movie starts to play.
