After one thousand years of living, Achilles Mikaelson thought he had seen it all. He had seen the beauty of the world and slept with some of the most beautiful women back in the day.  But he thought about how wrong he was when he first laid eyes on her. Elena Gilbert was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Although she looked like Tatia and Katerina whom Achilles hated. Achilles hated Tatia because he just had a pure hatred for her although she was beautiful. Once upon a time, Achilles fell in love with Katerina, falling for the Petrova allure for the first time. His brothers were surprised when he fell in love with her. They thought that since he hated Tatia, he was going to hate her descendants too. They were wrong, Adonis adored her and treated her like a Queen.

But Katerina, that bitch, Achilles liked to call her, tricked him and betrayed him. Achilles did not like Betrayals. He was not the type of person to forgive and forget. He vowed to hunt her down and make her pay. Katerina was smart, Achilles could begrudgingly agree. She had managed to hide from him and Klaus for the past 500 years.

He saw Elena Gilbert for the first time when she was four. She was a beautiful kid, Adonis had to admit, she had long brown hair and big doe brown eyes. The first time he saw her, she was lost and was looking for her parents. Most people ignored the girl and went on with their day. Adonis saw her and took pity on the child. He didn't know why, because normally, he found kids stupid. But something about her drew him in. Maybe it was her aura? Achilles didn't know, he wasn't a witch.

"Hey, kid where are your parents?" Achilles bent down to the crying girl, who only cried louder. Achilles panicked. He wasn't good with kids or as least he was until he turned into a vampire. In an effort to calm the girl down, Achilles made funny faces. Which made her giggle and himself smile. "Okay, kid. Where are your parents?" he asked again. "Don't know." the girl mumbled. Achilles sighed, "Kid, let's do this. You will stay with me until your parents come for you." The girl gave a toothy smile and Achilles felt his heart beat which was impossible, considering he was a vampire and technically dead. It wasn't in a romantic way. No, it was in an happy way. Usually, kids were scared of him and he didn't mind. He hated them anyways. But something was telling him that she was going to be something important to him in the future. He shook it off and grabbed the girl's tiny hand.

Her eyes shined as she pointed at a big lollipop. "You want that?" Achilles asked, smirking. Elena nodded excitedly. "Okay, let go in and buy it." he emphasised the word  'buy.' The girl giggled and nodded. "Thank you, mister," she said in a voice like honey which melted him a little. Achilles smirked, "You are welcome, kid." he said.

He and Elena walked into the sweet shop. Adonis walked up to the female cashier who was about nineteen and busy texting on her phone. She had short dyed black hair and was dressing like it was the 80s when it was actually 1996. "Hello, darling," Achilles said with a seductive smile. The girl looked up boredly. "How may I help-" Her cheeks turned red when she saw Achilles looking at her. "you?" she muttered. Achilles smirked. He loved the effect that he had on women. He was like an incubus, except that he didn't feed on their soul and had sexual intercourse with them in their sleep. Achilles was all about consent. He had never once forced a woman to sleep with him in his thousand years of living.  "You can help me." Adonis winked at her. "My daughter here wants to buy something." Achilles lied smoothly." the cashier flashed a dreamily smile at him, not even looking at the girl. "Of course sir, what would you like to buy?" she purred, drawing out the 'sir' Achilles grinned, "Good girl. She wants that big lollipop." Achilles pointed at what he was talking about. The woman blinked. "I'm sorry, but that is not for sale." Achilles' smile didn't falter, he moved his face closer to hers and stared into her eyes. His pupils dilated as he compelled her. "Be a good little girl and grab that big lollipop for us, would you, love?" The girl nodded. "Good," Achilles said with a satisfied smile.
