In the small glamorous studio, a bony figure stood with a handheld mirror in his grasp.

"I look gorgeous." He said as he examined his features.

He admired himself, posing for the mirror. He moved his skull so he could stare at his sharp jawline. He continued to check himself out until he was interrupted by a small squeak and a click of heels around his temporal bone.

The mouse (or was it a rat? Nobody knows for sure) stood politely on his shoulder, holding its briefcase in its small paws.

"We're opening soon." The small creature squeaked. "The grand opening is in 10!"

"Got it." the skeleton said as he threw the mirror behind him.

The creature scurried off and elegantly went into the small mouse door placed right in the middle of the huge wooden door. He walked through the long hall of his brand-new building. The workers walked by, greeting him with respect.

"Good mornin', Roy." A worker said.

"Morning." He bluntly replied.

He walked down the hall professionally, his status well known to the employees. Roy Rouse was a small, but incredibly intelligent businessman.

Today was the start of the business he had worked very hard on. It was the start of Rag & Co.! After many years of blood, sweat, and tears, Roy had worked up enough money to start his own business with his childhood best friend, Ronny Lacrimal. Roy was the brains; Ronny was the face. Now don't be mistaken, Roy is adorable. He has big glossy eyes and light pink fluffy fur. Everyone in the fashion scene knew of Roy's iconic black heels and black tie.

But paired with the most famous model in the last 5 decades? It was like the greatest crossover in fashion history. Modeling agencies threw loads of money at the two just to get them to show up to a photoshoot. Ronny's talent for modeling was unmatched. One shoot he could be stone cold serious and the next shoot he could be bubbly. Ronny and Roy were the iconic fashion duo; and everyone knew it.

Roy reached the front door and paused to take a deep breath. The paparazzi would be ready to snap pictures as soon as he opened the door. Roy straightened his tie and stood tall. He opened the small mouse door with grace and the crowd went wild. He sashayed down the red carpet set out before him. Paparazzi foamed out the mouth with questions. The voices blended into the chaotic mess. There were camera flashes and people with microphones just bombarding him with questions.

"Mr.Rouse, one question please!"

"When is the catwalk!?"

"Mr. Rouse!"

"Do you want to say anything to the press?"

"When will there be a clothing line produced by Rag & Co?"

Roy ignored the paparazzi's questions and went to the small stage with the microphone to make his speech. He tapped on the microphone to settle everyone down for a minute.

"Hello all! Welcome to the Grand Opening of Rag & Co. I am glad to announce that we are finally opening our business to the world." Roy stated. "It wasn't easy getting here. But now we are starting off on new beginnings, and I couldn't be happier. Please stay for the Grand Opening Catwalk! It will start in 30 minutes. Thank you, any questions?"

The crowd exploded in sound, while Roy just wondered what his friend was up to at that moment.

Ronny fidgeted with his glasses, trying to make them straight on his face. He stared into the body mirror, checking for any wrinkles in his clothing. He had his dark triangle sunglasses, gray turtleneck, a black coat over his shoulders, and black boots. He needed to look perfect. Anything less than perfect was unacceptable.

Over the years Ronny has been known for his dark and cold look. For the catwalk he needed something that would scream "Ronny". He had a knack for outfits that would look good on him. But today he felt kind of nervous. What if his outfit didn't look good enough? What if this? What if that?

Ronny was an overthinker. While thinking out of the box was an advantage creatively, it had its downsides. Today he really had to pull himself together.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, and he heard the door creak open. An employee walked in, clipboard in hand.

"5 minutes until the catwalk, Mr. Lacrimal." The employee stated before taking her leave.

Ronny sighed and looked at the mirror fiercely. Smacking his skull, he got serious. Scared? Him? No, he was Ronny Lacrimal, and he was going to slay the catwalk.

This was going to be the best show they'd ever seen.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The crowd boomed with life while they were waiting anxiously for the catwalk to start. The expectations were high, and the tension was brewing.

The area with the catwalk was well-lit and there were interviews going on around the clock. The press was eating this story up and journalists were making notes for their upcoming article.

The catwalk was elegant, sleek, and pristine. It looked like it had been cleaned five hundred times with the way that it sparkled. Seats surrounded the catwalk at an angle so everyone could see. Top rated celebrities sat in the front row, waiting anxiously in their seats.

Suddenly, the lights cut off and music started to play. The spotlights to the catwalk started to shine. One by one, the models picked exclusively from Ronny and Roy came out, dressed in extravagant clothing. Each model walked with such a confidence in their hearts. The crowd oh'd and ah'd at the clothing. Every outfit represented an era of theirs.

As the models walked away, the lights turned red. It was silent for just a second before Ronny threw the curtains open dramatically. He sported an extravagant spooky hat that had a bold red feather, contrasting the cool tones of his outfit. As he walked the crowd went wild, cheering and taking multiple pictures. His coat flowed elegantly as he walked. He seemed like a king, proud and dignified. Ronny walked down the catwalk and posed dramatically for the camera.

But when Ronny made it to the front of the catwalk, he did something unexpected. He stopped, dramatically started taking his hat off slowly. The crowd gasped and cheered at what they saw.

Roy was posing on Ronny's head. Roy looked so adorable, yet so strong. The crowd cheered and whistled at the surprise.

Ronny twirled his hat around his finger before throwing it into the crowd. He blew a kiss to the crowd. Then, he put Roy on his shoulder before posing once more and walking elegantly off the stage. The crowd erupted, clapping their hands together as confetti was shot into the air as a toast to the successful launch.

Rag & Co. was going to be the next biggest hit in the fashion industry, and it has only just begun.

But in the corner, a dark figure with a witch hat is brewing up a plan. A plan to tear two friends apart.
