i moved my way down to the potions lab and found snapes office wherein i knocked

"enter" came the reply as soon as he saw me he scowled

"what do you want potter" he said

"to talk, i would like to speak about my parents and what happened between you and them, i would also like to repair our relationship if possible, starting off with an apology, you sir have saved my life and for that i am grateful" i said seriously sounding very much like a pureblood he eyed be before leaning back in his chair

"what would you like to know" he asked

"everything about my father and what happened, i wish i could learn from my mothers point of view, but i know for a fact i can't go to sirius" i said he eyed me yet again

"i am surprised you have an opened mind, simply because i saved you from lupin" severus said

"no i want to know, because you died saving me from voldemort" i said his eyes widened

"explain potter" severus demanded

"this cannot go out only the headmaster knows what i am about to tell you i have shown him my memories" i said severus nodded and so i gave a full explanation

"so i did then, i kept my promise to my dear sister" severus said

"sister" i said surprised

"yes everyone believes i romantically loved lily that has not and never has been the case, she and i had a sibling relationship, what had happened when i called her a mudblood, was that she gave potter a chance to woo her, he succeeded but she soon realized how much of a bastard he truly is, he has the worst form of pureblood supremacy ever seen, he did not love your mother, he lusted over her, when he got her pregnant he used some old law to force them into marriage simply so he could do what he wanted with her, when this happened she and i came back into contact, and that is when i truly started working for the order, i told her everything, i gave my word to her you would be kept safe, i at least semi-succeeded if you survived the war, after we finish our discussion go find professor flitwick have him give you her diary he has it, she was after all his apprentice" severus explained

"i understand" i said

"i was to be your godfather alongside sirius but, she didn't want the bastard to know she was in contact with me, so she played the loving wife even though she secretly hated him, i have in fact several letters of correspondence with her, though they are lock away as part of my oath no one was to know of our relation to each other, however i think you are the exception to that rule" severus said i nodded

"now tell me, why is it you act as arrogant as your father" severus explained

"sir, i think you perceive me as arrogant, but my history is not pleasant, you knew my mother that must mean you know her sister petunia" i said his eyes widened

"no, you did not live there, with that magic hating bitch, and her walrus of a husband" he said i nodded

"DUMBLEDORE" he roared i raised my hands in hopes of placating him

"i am not going back the headmaster has said it himself because what will happen next year i am to remain at hogwarts to prepare myself" i said his eyes narrowed

"next year is the triwizard tournament" severus said he somehow didn't like the sound of me needing to prepare myself

"sir, there is nothing that can be done since we don't know enough so i will likely be placed in the tournament however i will also likely not have to go through exactly what happened last time, also i would like to ask to be resorted into slythern" i said

"that is a very strange request considering what you have told me, but very well, does the headmaster know this request" he asked

"uh no, i figured i'd run it by you first to see how you'd feel about me being in your house" i said he smiled

"very well, i shall speak with him, if that is is all good day mr. potter" severus said

"have a pleasant evening professor" i said as i left the office and returned to my common room
