Naturally, Willow goes inside the walls for things that she can't get on her own, though she hates dealing with this particular set of people. She'd rather deal with those on the ocean side, because they had open arms to women gifted like her. Of course, she couldn't bring her brother to that place because they weren't particularly nice to men. It was truly a women's world there.

However, she did like the numatic tribe that often came through in the fall. She wanted to join them, But leaf was far to young to journey with. And the nomads only traveled with her kind and strong hunters. They were very useful to Willow, telling her stories of other cities like this stony prison, and like the nomads, and the sea sides. And how there was land beyond the seas. One day I will cross it. She always thought. Yes, she's seen the sea, and loved the thought of crossing it... but she had quite a few obstacles to get over first.

"Sir... mind giving me spare change? My brother is starving and sick..." Willow, covered in dust and debry from days of no bathing, looks the part of a homeless child, Though she didn't feel thar way. Feeling sorry for her, many people spared as much as they could. In turn, Willow bought only what she needed. Salt, cloth and bread. Today she bought a shovel, and rope as well as a basket.

"You sure bought a lot for a poor girl." A man said stopping willow.

"Ah, yes..." she said with a strained smile. "I've been given seeds and I thought I should plant them, then sell the harvest. But I guess I shouldn't have..."

"No no," the man laughed ruffling her hair underneath her head cloth. "We all have to start somewhere. I wish you luck, and I hope your brother gets healthy soon."

"Thank you." She quickly left. Willow didn't hate everyone in this stony prison, but she hated the majority, for their ignorance and selfishness. And for how close minded they became to those below them, or things dealing with titans. She scurried to the wall, and looked around. She had made a tunnel, So she could come and go easily without notice. But of course she always had a back up plan, in case someone blocked it.

"What's all this?" Leaf said, surprised that. She patted his head. Leaf supposedly looks like his father. He was eaten by a titan soon after impregnating their mom. They both shared their mothers unnatural bright blue eyes, but unlike Willow and their mom, leaf had normal Brown hair. It seemed like only the women in her bloodline had matching unnatural blue hair and eyes. Willow had darker skin due to her consistently being out watching the humans movements. While leaf confided to studying the books his sister always brought back. 

"I thought we should create a well for you. I know there are times you run out of water when it's hot. And then I was thinking we could make a hanging garden. Your very smart, I'm sure you can think of something. While I'm away, I want you to be able to survive without leaving the safety of the trees."

"Big sis..." He whined.

"This is a test leaf. If you can survive on your own, listening to the rules I've given, then I will allow you to go inside the walls with me. But if you die... well, there's nothing that needs to be said."

"Ok..." leaf looked at the items that his sister brought back for him. She's not coming back once she's finished preparing me... he knew it in his gut. She was preparing him to live on his own for the rest of his life. A life in the trees, far away from the tallest titans he's seen. She wouldn't abandon me... would she?

"Stop that sad thinking. I just have a bad feeling, that's all." She pushed him slightly and smiled. "I would never leave you. After all, your my very precious brother." He smiled. Of course she would never leave.
