3 | Flirts

"Daniel, what about.. that one?" Zoe pointed over to the King Of Hammer game. Basically, using a hammer and drop it on the base as hard as possible to see if the system gets you high enough for the bell to ring, you win by than.

Daniel nodded and headed with Zoe to the arcade game. He rubbed the back of his neck, anticipated, he looked at the instruction before giving it a go. He held the hammer tightly and slammed it down, dawned by his own strength the machine slightly cracked with a screw falling out. Though the bell did go off.

Noticing the damage Daniel placed the hammer down and quickly apologized to the teacher who had run the arcade. "I'm so sorry sir, I didn't know.." He trailed off and bowed apologetically for the teacher who brushed it off. He pointed over to a heart shaped pillow and handed it over to Zoe.

"Thanks," Zoe remarked and gave the pillow a good squeeze. Daniel looked down at his wrist, rolling up his sleeves as he checked the time. Looking away from the King Of Hammer he stared off at the corn dog machine, coincidentally Yui happened to be there.

Zoe stopped hugging the pillow to look back up at Daniel, following his gaze she mistakenly thought  he was starring at Yui. Frowningly Zoe pinched the back of Daniel's shirt and pointed over to the corn dog machine, "Are you hungry? - cause I am, let's go eat!" Zoe said with a hint of annoyance.

Daniel didn't get a say but agreed either way and walked with Zoe to the corn dog machine. Though on their way, it seemed from Zoe's perspective that Daniel's eyes didn't leave Yui for a second which irritated her even more. As they made their approach Yui came towards them.

Sheepishly she gave Daniel a shy wave and Zoe a blank stare. "Hi Daniel," She said, changing the pitch of her voice to make it sound higher and more cheerful. Daniel nodded and smiled, "Hi Yui." He replied back. Zoe grunted and eyed Yui for a moment before Yui spoke, "There was a clothing stall beside the face painting section, Daniel.." She trailed off suddenly and gazed back at Daniel.

And with no shame Zoe quickly pulled Daniel out of her view and spoke huffily, "Daniel and I were actually on our way to get corn dogs, if you'd excuse us." She said briefly before turning her backs to the two. Without a say once more Daniel was forced mentally to follow Zoe or else it'd become a slight problem and inconvenience since he was hungry.

"Wait up.." Daniel muttered before following after Zoe. Looking back over at the corn dog machine two bright familiar faces were visible from the crowd. Zoe called out, "Mira Zack!" Waving frantically she ran over to the two with a grin.

Daniel stared off, small glitter specs fell down onto his face. Irritated he grunted while still starring at his three friends whom reunited. She's like a dog.., or a puppy that I have to follow around. Daniel chuckled to the thought and walked over to his friends.

Mira smiled warmly at the sight of Daniel who greeted her back. Zack sneered over the two and noticed that they've suddenly distanced themselves from each other. A usual habit that had become repetitive. To break the awkward silence Zack coughed out, "Nice headbands." He turned to stare at the side, his cheeks redden from embarrassment.

"Ah - thanks.." Zoe replied utterly, pointing with her thumb to behind them where the accessory stall is to indicate that they've gotten them from there. Zack understood and quickly grabbed Mira by the hand, taking her to the stall Zoe hinted out.

Daniel looked to the side and saw two sticks of corn dogs left on the stall, quickly leaving Zoe's side he purchased the last remaining's. He tapped the side of Zoe's cheek with the corn dog to get her attention. Zoe gasped and quickly bit it while Daniel still held it. 

"..." Daniel remained silent, instead of handing her the corn dog he held it out for her as she ate it, whilst they made their way to the next venue. Zoe and Daniel both looked at a peculiar stall which had a large bear mascot, a sign pointing to the booth.
