Her eyes became a hazed blur as the tears streamed down her face like waterfalls. Her nose became a light red from sniffing. Zoe eventually made a turn on a path which led her to her house. Quickly she sprinted inside, forgetting to take her shoes off she went all the way to her room, slamming the door behind her.
Her father caught her running inside the house with the shoes and yelled angrily, "Zoe what did I say about wearing shoes inside?!" he grunted from frustration. Once she was inside her room she threw her bag against the wall making a thud like sound. She slipped out of her shoes and jumped onto her bed.
Zoe stuffed her face inside her pillow before flipping onto her back. She stared endlessly at the ceiling, her eyes crinkled when blinking from the dried tears. She sniffled, "Shit, my eyes are going to look so puffy tomorrow.." she murmured. She turned her head over and looked at her bathroom door. "Just a shower," she thought aloud, than she headed to the bathroom.
After she had finished showering, Zoe threw her hair up into a bun and called it a night. She leaped into bed and closed her eyes shut. Tossing and turning all night, she felt as if something was keeping her awake. She sat up and tossed the towel onto her desk.
With a yawn she slipped out of bed and walked over to her window, she could vaguely make out a figure in a hood trying to pet a cat she assumed. The person seemed to try and calm down the feisty cat by patting it, though it eventually bit him on the hand. He jumped and his hood fell down, obvious his face was given a small spotlight by the moonlight.
"Daniel?" Zoe whispered before ducking down once she thought Daniel was looking her direction. She quietly crawled over to her bed before pulling the blinds down. She laid in her bed while stuffing her face with a pillow as she tried to fall asleep fast.

The morning passed and the sound of a cats meowing and a window tapping awoken Zoe from her deep slumber. She turned to her window and pulled up the blinds to see the same cat, laying by the windowsill. Zoe smiled and headed to the bathroom to get ready, whilst passing her mirror she came back to see her swollen eyes.
She opened a cabinet and took out a bottle of eyedrops before using them. Quickly she did her daily routine and wore her uniform, grabbing her bag she marched down to the kitchen. She threw her bag on the seat next to her and began to chug down her cereal. "Zoe, slow down." Her mother sneered. Zoe nodded and headed out of the house with a loud bang from their front door.
Her mother gritted her teeth at her daughter's sudden attitude, "What's gotten into her?" Her mother asked and stared at her husband. Zoe's father murmured something, "Teenagers-" and ended it like that before he went on with reading his online articles.
Zoe jogged her way to school, unlike most days she'd usually walk. But because of what had happened yesterday, she felt too ashamed to even be seen in broad daylight for a minute. While on her way, sneaky style, she saw Mira from afar. Sitting on a bench by a lamp post in front of a convenient store.
Zoe ran over to greet Mira when she saw two familiar faces inside the convenient store, Daniel and Zack. Not giving Mira the time to even speak, Zoe grabbed her by her collar and dragged her to the car park behind the store. Mira huffed and looked at Zoe with a sane expression, "What are you doing?" She whispered and ducked with Zoe.
Zoe replied harshly, "Hiding. Daniel and Zack are here, I can't let him see me at all.. ever!" She snapped, she investigated their surroundings. Mira sighed and stood up, pulling Zoe along with her. "Avoiding him might not be the best idea, but good luck anyways." Mira encouraged before walking away.
Zoe nodded to her self and kept that thought in mind, she walked through the gates of the school when she could see a faint figure approaching her from behind. Her first reaction was to walk faster, incase it was either Daniel or Zack.
When inside, the person began to call out her name. "Zoe!" The voice was familiar and easy to tell so she knew already who it was. So for the next few hours during class, Zoe made it apparent that she was avoiding Daniel.
The bell eventually went by and it was free period. Zoe decided to have her lunch early and head to the rooftop by herself. She leaned against the barb-wire fence while eating her sand-which when she heard footsteps coming.
Her eyes flickered over to the same hooded boy, Daniel. "Zoe can we talk?" He asked quietly and approached her. Zoe raised a brow, wanting to ignore him but she was caught at a dead end. She stared to the side and nodded, "Yeah sure." She mumbled. Daniel took a breath in, "I know your avoiding me because of what had happened yesterday." he said.
Zoe felt goosebumps running across her arms, she bit her lips and listened more. "And just to let you know, the rumor's died down." He said and added on, "I don't really care what Yui said." He ended it off. Zoe had almost forgot that Yui was the one who had started this, which made her annoyed.
Zoe gritted her teeth, "Is that all?" She wanted to sound cocky to test his patience, seeing how he basically waited an entire day just to talk to her. Daniel rubbed the back of his neck and looked at the barb-wire fence Zoe leaned against. "There is one more thing," he said with a genuine tone of discomfort.
Zoe awaited with her arms crossed now. "For the past days I've been hiding this gut feeling, letting it pile down inside me." He started, "But now I don't think I can hide it anymore. And I think I know what it is," He said. Adding a dramatic long pause.
"I think I like you." He admitted and looked away. Zoe's eyes flickered wide, she was definitely caught off guard and wasn't prepared for Daniel's answer at all. Zoe muttered, "Is that so?" she said, despite her feelings growing stronger for Daniel even though she wanted to do the same and hide it away.
Daniel brought his gaze upon Zoe, his eyes soften but felt a rush of embarrassment wash over him. He held each hoodie string and tugged them as hard as possible until the hood covered his entire face. Still holding onto the strings he stared at the ground.
He flinched when he heard footsteps coming towards him, Zoe stood barely a few inches away from him. "I like you too, but your really bad at expressing it." She said and kissed him on his hood, wherever she thinks his mouth is. Daniel let go of the strings and his arms fell down to his sides.
He mumbled something but it was muffled from the enclosed hood. Zoe grinned, she held one string of Daniel's hood and pulled it as she walked back into the halls. "So you like cats?" Zoe asked and stopped walking. Still holding onto the string of the hood like a leash to a dog. Daniel could only nod.
Just than, a single snowflake fell down onto Zoe's nose. She stared at it with shock before looking up at the sky. Small essences of snowflakes gradually floated down upon Seoul. Zoe laughed excitedly and spun Daniel around with joy before hugging him. "You did this on purpose didn't you? You knew it was going to snow and you chose to confess just for today!" She pulled away and spun him again.
Keep in mind, Daniel had no idea it was snowing from his hood being tightly shut. He could only nod and express his joy by not vomiting when being spun mercilessly from Zoe's overwhelming power of joy.
