I walked over to Lesso, my heart pounding in my chest, I was always on Clarissa's left whenever I was closest to her, and she was on the right. "Uh- Uhm, Lesso, You uh- wanted this book didn't you?" I asked showing her the book, she looked up at me, she scoffed, "You're the one who took it didn't you? Typical Evers..." she rolled her eyes, continuing her search of a new book, I mumbled my question, gaining some confidence at the end before she cut me off, "I was going to ask if you'd want to share-"

"Sh- share?" She burst out laughing, she pretended to wipe a tear from her eye, smiling, "You Evers actually have a sense of humor! Who knew!"

I shifted in my heels, clutching the book to my chest, She arched an eyebrow, "What was your question, Y/n? Speak up, I don't like it when people mumble." She whispered walking closer to me, her body towering over mine, her piercing eyes appeared as if they were staring into my soul. I tilted my head down to the ground stepping away, she moved forward, it was like that for two more step until I bumped into a bookshelf, the books digging into my skin like claws.

She cornered me using her arm me, her cold hands touched my chin lifting my head up, I was met with a pale blue eyes "Look at me while speaking, little girl." I bottom lip quivered, "I was going to ask if you'd want to share the book, we'll both have one day each with it" I asked, voice shaking, "fine. But I get first day." She snatched the book and fixed her jacket before walking away like nothing happened.

This woman is so scary, a few minutes later I exited the library heading over to the school for good, I found Clarissa in her office sipping on some tea and reading paperwork. "Oh, hello, dearest girl! How's your day been?" She asked, her smile as bright as ever, Clarissa has always acted as my older sister, she protected me and supported me when I needed her.

"Unusual, really. I ran into Lesso, turns out one of my favorite books is her's to, we've been unknowingly checking out the same book after the other checks it in, I wanted an extended week without knowing she was going to check it out, so we made a deal. It was quite eventful" I explained, sitting in the chairs in front of her desk, "sure does seem like it, dear" she said holding my hands for comfort, this is surely going to be fun.
