Maya
The next day I woke up next to Kian and I noticed that we were both naked. HOLY SHIT. I quickly woke up Kian and panicked, dad is gonna kill us oh fuck I forgot about mom.
"Did we use-"
"Check the drawer" Kian whispered back .
"That's the problem I don't have them anywhere in my house" I quietly yelled if that was even a thing.
"Oh fuck Maya! What happens if you are?"
"Shut up you're making me nervous"
Worried on what to do we quickly dressed up and Kian climbed out of the window and pretended to be arriving at my house again using the front door. Luckily dad did not notice that Kian stayed overnight. I guess he got tired while waiting.
"I got it" I yelled to the air since mom was not home. I opened the door and Kian came and we both raced up to my room to where we looked online on when the symptoms usually kick in and they said about 6-12 days. So now all we have to do is wait 6 or 12 days. We calmed down a little bit.
"I know what I'm giving for our one year anniversary" Kian teased.
We both walked to the kitchen well Kian carried me to the kitchen so he can make me breakfast.
"Are you gonna help me?" Kian asked.
"What? A man of mine better know how to cook" I said with pride.
Kian walked over to me and started chasing me around the house until I gave up and helped him with breakfast.
"Bananas m'lady?" Kian asked I laughed and nodded.
So now breakfast was ready we both decided to eat until we had no more of our food left.
"Anyways I got some news for you!" Kian said holding something behind his back. Now I'm really worried was that the protection thing he was talking about because we could have used those last night when we were both tired and got a little crazy.
Kian handed me a paper and I opened it and it was a college acceptance form from a university, I quickly gave Kian a hug while he spun me around in circles. I looked at the letter and I noticed it said 'we would love to have you here in New York' and that's when I realized that he was gonna have to move pretty soon and that's really far away from California.
"Its says 'New York' " I said now I'm really depressed I don't do long distance relationships its just not my thing what if he cheats without me even knowing? I can't just virtually slap him.. he needs to feel the pain of being hurt by someone you love the most.
"Maya, I won't take it if you do not want me to" Kian took a seat next to me and took my hand. "It says I gotta be there tonight for the requirements and applications" I felt proud of Kian but I don't know about this.
"Kian I'm so proud of you but education always comes first-"
"That's where you're wrong, family always comes first and you are my family" I blushed a little.
"No this is a once in a lifetime opportunity how can you say no?" Are you kidding me he's willing to give up this for me? No I feel terrible! "Kian you're going and that's final they even have your ticket in here" Kian looked at me and stroked my cheek.
"Maya be honest will you survive a few months of me being gone?" If we were being honest no.
"Yes Kian now go pack up and we'll head to the airport" I said.
"No I don't want to just say goodbye like that, here" Kian turned on some slow music and he took my hand and we both danced around my living room like we did at prom. "At least one last dance with you who knows when we could be doing this again" I smiled and I danced a little closer.

Tonight Kian was gonna leave me and with all relationships I had never gone through a situation like this. My dad decided to bring us to the airport since he felt bad that Kian was gonna leave us for a few days or who knows he might start early and stay for a few months.
We climbed out of the car and dad helped out with the bags and then left us alone.
"Don't you cry Maya"
"I would never"
"I promise I'll do anything to come back as soon as possible" Kian promised.
"Kian you don't need to promise me anything but when you come back you better be educated" I teased, but I heard Kian laugh so I was finally complete.
"Of course mom"
Kian and I embraced for a really long time and then we both kissed like we were never ever gonna see each other again.
And just like that Kian was gone, out of my sight.
