Chapter 4

Tia's POV (Zoe's younger sister)

I had no school today. Because I'm in Year 2, KS1, we have weekdays off from school sometimes.

I was happily doing Loom Bands in my room when I heard whispering coming from Aprils room. No one has been in there for ages.

So who was whispering? I had to make sure Danny (my younger brother) wasn't in there doing something.

As I went to open the door, I realised the door knob wasn't dusty. Eh?

I heard Mum talking to her friend downstairs watching television, so the coast was clear. I put my hand on the door knob...

"What are you doing?" A voice said loudly. It was Danny!
"DANNY! God you scared me!" I cried.
"Why you going in Aprils room?" He said. And my annoying brother, who loves getting me and Zoe in trouble, said it soo loud that Mum heard.
"Who's in Aprils room?" Mum yelled from downstairs.

"No one!" I replied.
"Tia was-" Danny begun. I slapped my hand around his gobby mouth.
"Dont even try it," I mumbled at him.
"O-okay sorry," Danny said. Phew...
But why was the door knob not dusty?

Zoe's POV

I studied the sky, watching the clouds over lap each other. Does Heaven really exist? Does your spirit really carry on to live?

I was in my own world on the school field when a dark shadow blocked my view. It was Emily and her friend Christie.
"Hi..." I mumbled.
"Hey... By the way, I hope you were okay after you fainted," Emily smiled.

"Yeah, thanks," I smile. It was a silent moment which was very awkward.
"So, uh..." Christie began. Then the bell went, luckily. Saved by the bell!
"See ya," I said with a smile before skipping off.

After School...

"Hi everyone!" I said coming through the front door.
"How was school?" Mum asked.
"Great. You?" I questioned.
"Good," Mum added.

"Mmm," Tia said eying my suspiciously.
"Uh yo," I say randomly.
"Say, you been in Aprils room lately?" Tia blurted out.
"What? No!" I say shocked. Great, how did she know?
"Well it's strange how the door knob isn't dusty," She said. "And how her DIARY is in YOUR room," Tia said controlling.

"Ugh fine! I went in there to see if I could find anything," I whispered. Then it backfired.
"So Tia. Why were you in there?" I asked. Tia went quiet.
"Uh... Well... I thought Danny was in there because I heard eerie whispers," Tia said.

"And?"
"And what?"
"Was he in there?" I asked.
"No..." Tia said mournfully.
"Ok- wait what?" I frowned.
"No.. He wasn't in there," she said.
"Then WHO was?!" I said shocked.
"I don't know!" Tia said frightened.
"Okay things are getting strange," I mumbled. She nodded.

We had to sort this out.

Unknown POV

Tomorrow... The long wait is nearly over... Oh, I have some great idea's for her...
