Zoe's POV

I love Fridays. Why? Well because they're the last day of the week (well week of school!) and there are always good tunes on the music channel.

Also, Mum orders pizza's every Friday. I always have chicken and sweetcorn on mine! Yummy.

I'm daydreaming about pizza when Melissa, my friend, comes up to me and asks if I can play out after school. Why not?
"Yeah, I'll come. But I have to ask my Mum first. If I'm aloud out I'll be at the park at 4pm okay?" I smile. She nods.

I don't really have a best friend. April was, in my eyes, my bestest friend. She gave me advice and she was funny... Even though she was my sister! I feel like crying again but I don't. I've cried way too much.

- At the park -

Did I mention that I live in Tackley? (Note reader 'Tackley' is a random town name lol xD) Tackley is a small village and has lots of trees.

"Hey Zoe. Yazmin should be here with Scarlet soon," Melissa said hopping off the swing.
"Ahh okay!" I reply. Then something came over me. A strange eerie feeling. I felt I was being watched.

Was someone hidden in a bush? Was someone watching me behind the trees? Suddenly, I remembered this woodland part that had a pond. Me and April used to play there. I felt like I had to go there.

The pressure was so strong that it felt like someone was dragging me to the woodland area.

"Melissa I'll be back in a few minutes," I gabbled.
"Huh? Why? Where you going?" She asked. I ignored her. I just walked through the trees to the woodland area.

When I arrived, the eerie feeling of being watched had vanished. Shivers galloped my spine. Then, I saw the pond and the log that me and April used to sit on.

I sat in her place and looked at the nature. What was I doing here? Reminding myself of the long forgotten past? I wanted to cry. Cry in happiness.

Snap.

I freeze. What the hell was that?! I turned to look but I saw trees at every angle.
"Who's there?" I called, only to hear my voice echo around the forest. I definitely heard a twig snap. Then the eerie feeling came back.

I knew I wasn't alone.

I could see shadows hiding everywhere. Then another twig snapped. It was right behind me. Something was behind me. I closed my eyes and when I counted to 3, I was going to turn to see what was behind me.
"1..." I whispered.
"2..." I gulped.
"3!"
