Mari would've never admitted it, but during the long friendship with Ni-ki she had developed a huge crush on him. Not even a crush. She was head over heels for him.
And she wasn't the only one. Ni-ki liked the girl for a long time, but never had the courage to ask her out and also did he had a dating ban and she was still a trainee and not allowed to date.
On June 3rd at 9am, on Mari's day off, she got woken up by her phone. She groaned when she looked at her phone, but stopped and smiled when she saw the contact that was calling her.

She picked up the phone and sat up. „What is it?" Mari yawned and rubbed her eyes.
Ni-ki laughed. „Good morning to you too, Mari. Did you sleep well?" His voice was soft.
Mari hummed sarcastically. „What can I do for you?" She asked.
„Are you free today? I want to take you out on a date." Ni-ki said bluntly.
Her eyes widened. She stuttered something like a 'yes' and a 'when'. His question completely caught her of off guard, leaving her flustered and blushing on her bed.
He chuckled at her reaction, but his heart was beating like crazy. It took him a lot of time and talks with his hyungs to finally ask the girl out for a real date.
„I'm going to pick you up at 5pm, okay?" Ni-ki asked softly. „Make sure to wear something pretty and suitable for a dinner."
After the call ended Mari immediately texted Danielle.
Mari DANI EMERGENCY
Dani<3 What's wrong babe?
Mari Ni-ki asked me out! I need you in my room at 4. He picks me up at 6
Dani<3 A DATE?! Finally! Dani<3 Where is he taking you?
Mari He said I should were something for a dinner
Dani<3 Got it. At 4 in your room. I'll bring some clothes.
Mari You're a life saviour
So at 4pm Mari sat in front of her mirror doing her make up while Danielle was behind her, straightening her long hair. Musik loudly blasted from her phone, the two girls singing along.
„I'm so fucking nervous, Danielle." Mari interrupted their singing. „Like what if I mess it up or something?"
Danielle chuckled. „He is literally head over heals for you, there is nothing you could do to mess it up. Just be yourself."
