“Eh she’ll be fine.” I heard a deep, warm voice say but it obviously belonged to a pirate. Wait! A pirate?  How do I know this? I opened my eyes as fast as I could and looked up. My head hurt insanely but as I looked around I realised I was on a ship.

“Wow! No way, I am on a ship.” I sort of blurted out. As I said this though I was scanned by the captain (I am assuming) and he looked at me as if I was an alien but it was not a horrible look.

“I know who you are. You are William Tuner, captain of the Flying Dutchman.” I questioned now standing up but my head was still throbbing.

“See, obviously you hit her head hard enough as she still knows how to talk, just what I need.” Will said.

“Well there has obviously been a mistake so if you like you can just take me back ashore as I have a date to attend.” I asked Will, now walking after him.

“You want to go ashore? Look around love. No shore here.” He said and I did as he said. In went and looked out over the edge of the boat. Water that’s all I saw, no land at all. The only thing running through my mind was ‘Oh Crap’.

“Why have you captured me anyway.” I asked Will who was now attending to the Kedge (a small anchor to keep the ship steady) we must be stopping.

“Emma, there is something you have of ours that we want back. I think you know what it is.” he said turning to face me.

“Um… no I don’t?” I said concerned.

“The key that we need to unlock it.”  A crew member said.

“What! I have a key. To unlock what?” I asked.

“To unlock the ship!” he yelled getting a good smack around the head by Will, sorry I mean Captain Turner.

“You don’t know where it is?” Will now asked turning to me.

“First of all what is it and second of all… what ship!” I asked now yelling.

“The key is the ship.”
