Narrator: The Sinnoh region! A breathtaking, awe-inspiring corner of the Pokemon world, complete with an amazing array of Pokemon! Soaring through the air, gliding through the water, thriving on the land, and sharing the land with all sorts of people working and playing together, the training, the battles.
The camera then cuts to a house, an alarm clock can be heard as the girl turns it off, she gets back to bed and pulls the covers over her head, but her feet got uncovered as she bring them in.
Narrator: A 10th birthday is a happily anticipated milestone in many young people's lives, because after that day, their Pokemon journey begins, complete with a new Pokemon as partner!
The girl gets up and opens the windows and sighs happy. We see a view of her home town.
Narrator: And this young lady, Dawn, is one of those people, as her 10th birthday has come and gone, and her Pokemon now waits in the wings!
Dawn was then seen putting her hair clips. That was when her mother Johanna was heard.
Johanna: Dawn, are you up?
Dawn: I am SO up!
Johanna then comes in
Johanna: Morning, dear!
Dawn: Good morning, Mom!
Johanna: I had a feeling you'd wake up early today.
Dawn: Mom, I'm 10 years old.
Johanna: Well I hope you finish packing.
Dawn: Mm-hm. Did it all yesterday!
Johanna: And just in case you forgot. Did you pack the postcard from Professor Rowan? You won't be able to get your Pokemon without it, or your Pokedex.
Dawn: I know, Mom.
Dawn than takes out her postcard.
Dawn: See? I'd never forget this!
Johanna: Good! So, have you decided which of those three Pokemon you're going to pick?
Dawn: Not yet. They're all so cute! Thing is, I'm sure that any of them would make an awesome partner! I've gotta be smart, though. I wanna be a Top Coordinator like you, Mom!
Johanna: Then first off, you have to become a great Pokemon Trainer. And a breeder, too! Please remember, dear, all winning Coordinators first started out as Pokemon Trainers!
Dawn: You're right, Mom. That's just what I'll do!
She then started to fantasize about her being a Pokemon coordinator.
Marion (Lillian of Sinnoh): And now for our next Coordinator! Making her debut, it's Dawn from Twinleaf Town!
