CHAPTER ONE
EPISODE ONE, THE FOOTPRINT OF METEOR, PARTS 1 & 2

Mint Yuthakon Srisawat was sitting at his desk, in front of his friend, Gorya. She was doing her homework while he was drawing her, when a girl dragged a chair over to their table and sat down.

"Hi!" she said, making both of them jump a little. "I'm Hana. I just moved here today from the USA." Mint put his notepad down, sharing a confused look with Gorya. "What's wrong?"

Gorya smiled a little. "Nothing. My name is Gorya, and that's my friend, Mint." Mint smiled at the girl, giving a small wave.

"So... why are you two sitting here doing your homework all alone?"

"I'm not doing my homework, I'm drawing her," Mint said, showing his drawing to Hana, smiling when she complimented it.

"I'm on an athletic scholarship. I have to pay more attention to class than anyone else. He's on a scholarship too, but it's an art one," Gorya told the girl, looking at her friend.

Mint nodded, moving to put his notepad in his backpack. "Yeah, I already did my homework last night though, unlike her," he said with a teasing tone, making Gorya glare at him. He laughed softly, Gorya's glare fading and turning into a smile too.

"Anyways, we also just don't really know how to talk to anyone else except eachother here," the boy continued. When Hana asked why, he pointed towards a group of girls. "You see those three girls over there? They like to talk about new expensive bags they got, or which country they're going to this summer."

Gorya nodded. "We can't really talk along with them, you know. For an international school like this one, only rich kids go here. There's not a lot of students on scholarships like us."

Hana gave them an understanding look. "It's fine with us if you want to go and talk to anyone else," Mint said with a small grin. "I know I'm quite boring, so is she," he continued jokingly, making Gorya glare up at him again.

Hana got up and left, as Mint and Gorya shared a look. Mint was about to grab his notepad out of his bag again, when Hana came back holding a lunchbox. "Want a bite? I made it myself! I want you be you guys' friend."

Mint and Gorya smiled at eachother, before smiling at the girl sitting in next to them and thanking her. "And those girls seem kind of mean," Hana whispered to them, covering her mouth with her hand.

The three of them laughed, Gorya taking a cookie out of the box. "By the way, do you two have any tips for a new student like me?"

"I do," Gorya said. "You don't know anything about this school, do you?"

"Not really. I only know what the teacher told me," Hana replied.

"Have you ever been bullied at your old school?" Mint asked, knowing what Gorya was about to tell her. Hana shook her head, looking a bit confused. "Or have you bullied someone else?"
