Hey there! My name is Grace-- I go by g.e Schaffer or just g.e. I'm currently a Writing Arts major in University. :-)

Thanks so much for choosing to check out this story, but before you go any further you should be aware of some possible triggers in this book.

As always, take care of yourself above all else when reading.

It is never my intention to upset or disturb anyone with my writing, however, this is a book intended for an older audience (ages 18-25 specifically.)

Possible Triggering Content Includes:

-Discussions and depictions of physical and sexual abuse, especially pertaining to authority figures.

-Past instances of SH (self-harm) and attempted suicide. ** (Again, please, please take care of yourself. I've included a hotline number below if you don't feel like you're in a good headspace.)

-Slurs regarding the LGBTQ+ Community (I myself am a part of this community and wanted to preface that none of the language associated with this community within these pages comes from any place of hate, so please know I don't think ill of anyone in this diverse and lovely group.)

(In addition to that, all sexual and gender identities, except MAPs and zoophiles are welcome here. If you are either one of the aforementioned two ^ GTFO right now.)

I do not tolerate any form of hate speech in my comments or inbox in association with myself or others. If you have something negative to say, just don't. This doesn't apply to constructive criticism of my writing. Make as many pointers as you want to, as long as you do so respectfully.

Really all I'm trying to get at is that my stories are a safe space. They may not be happy-go-lucky books, but I guarantee that my audience's mental health comes first. If you feel uncomfortable on Wattpad at all, I will try my best to be a support system.

Finally, two of my characters are minors. One is 17, and another character is 13. They are fictional, but propagating the sexualization of minors even within the confines of books negatively impacts people's lived experiences. Please do not make any untoward comments about children. I will report you.

Things to Know about Some Characters:

Ezra, the protagonist, is an intersex person and identifies with they/he pronouns. Ezra is also canonically bisexual. They also have scoliosis (write what you know, am I right? Alas, I am a chronic back pain haver.)

Beaux, a secondary protagonist, is a lesbian who uses she/they pronouns. Beaux is a SA survivor and also deals with nerve damage in her legs from 3rd-degree burns.

Hope (who is a minor) uses he/him pronouns and experiences migraines and speech problems as a result of a TBI (traumatic brain injury.)

Well, that's my ramble.

I hope you enjoy the story!
