I step out of the shower into the cool air I grab a towel and quickly towel dry my hair I step back into my bedroom and look at my clothes laid out on my bed. Now what should I wear I say to myself? You see I'm not exactly the most slimmest woman you'll ever meet I have curves and despite many years of obsessing and being so insecure in my body I'm finally somehwhat happy with how I look . Don't get me wrong I still have my down days about how I look, and when it comes to finding a nice partner well let's just say that's non existent I'm always the bet to see who can get the fat girl. It can be disheartening but I know they aren't mister right for me. I'm distracted by lily knocking on my door. "Come on in Lily" I call out. Lilly opens my door and gosh does she look stunning I start to compare my body to hers gosh she makes me so self conscious of my body. She's wearing a short black dress that hugs her body so beautifully with red heels, her brown hair in waves with nude makeup, topped off with a bright red lipstick that really makes her brown eyes pop.
"Wow Lily, you look beautiful." I say sincerely "Thanks B, have you decided what you are gonna wear?." She takes a look at the clothes I've laid out on the bed. She picks up a purple dress. "This is stunning! You should so wear this!" Lily exclaims. I take a look at the dress and I sigh. "I suppose I can give it a try." Lily grins at me. "You'll look beautiful in it. I'll give you 20 minutes." She winks as she heads out of my room.
20 minutes later
"B! The Uber is here!" Lily exclaims as she's grabbing her purse of the kitchen counter.
I quickly rush out of my room, putting on my black heels as I'm walking. Lily turns to face me and I swear I see her jaw drop to the ground. "Oh my god." She puts her hand over her mouth. Paranoia courses through my body. I start to panic I look awful don't I?! "Do I look bad?" "Bad?! Oh hell no girl you look like a hot bitch! Honestly you look incredible I'm so envious of your body!"

I blush. "Awh thankyou Lily that means a lot to me." I smile, I grab my leather jacket of the barstool and put it on.
We hear the sound of a car beeping. "Shit! We better go before they drive off!" She laughs as she grabs my hand and pulls me out of the apartment.
At the bar
We arrived at this bar called 'Drink' how ironic I thought to myself and chuckled. Lily smiles " I know it's ironic isn't it, so I thought I would show you the place where I work in the evenings. I absolutely love working here." I smile. "It looks beautiful Lily." "Come, let's get our drink on!" She does a goofy dance and walks in. I follow suit as soon as I enter the building I feel eyes on me. My immediate reaction is to wrap my leather jacket around my body as much as I can. I feel like everyone is laughing at me and judging me. I breathe slowly and try to catch my breath as I feel a panic attack coming on. You can do this Beth just walk with your head held up high.
As soon as I look up my eyes are met with the most mesmerising green eyes I've ever seen it's like they are staring deep into my soul. My eyes drift over to his facial features he's got the most perfect face structure I've ever seen it's like he was created by the gods, the beard makes him look 1000% times more attractive but gosh he looks so familiar. I can't put my finger on it.
