My Hero Academia: New Age

Last day of school 2/2

Catching their breath from all of the running they just did, they realised that with just a bit more running they would be able to make it on time. They started sprinting into their school and with just 20 seconds to spare, they had made it. "You're late," their teacher stated. "What, no we're just on time!" Yagi replied. The teacher checked his watch before answering, "No, you're actually 30 seconds too late, so that's a detention,"   "What no please, I-I'm begging you, I've got training after school!" Yagi pleaded.   "I'm actually quite surprised Yagi, you're always on time, I know that she's your friend but try not to let Bakugou drag you down," the teacher said. "And as for you Masaki, if you even want to think about getting into U.A you need to learn to wake up on time, or else you'll be expelled within a week, now go sit down both of you," the teacher firmly stated. 

The rest of the school day went as normal until it came to detention. "My first detention, and on the last day as well!" Yagi said. "Oh calm down you'll be fine," Masaki replied. Once they arrived at the detention classroom, they were quite surprised to see that they were the only people there. "Okay, I haven't been here before but I'm gonna guess that that's not normal," Yagi stated. Masaki replied "Yeah, there should definitely be at least one teacher here?"  "I guess lets just sit down," Yagi said as he found a seat.

They sat there for the full 30 minutes that they needed to before standing up and silently agreeing to just leave instead of searching for a teacher. There was just a creepy aura protruding from the building and they wanted  to get away from it as soon as possible. They exited the classroom and started walking down the corridor that lead out of the building. All of a sudden tapping sounds almost like footsteps on a floor started from behind them. They didn't look back and started sprinting for the exit. Once out of the building they ran all the way down the street and back to where they had seen each other for the first time that day. "What . the . fuck . was . that," Yagi questioned.  "I-I have no fucking clue, okay man," Masaki answered.  "I-I think I'm just gonna go home, uh cya later," Yagi said. "Okay, yeah same here," Masaki replied.  "Oh wait, are you and your dad still coming to the training match tomorrow?" Yagi asked.  "Oh yeah, you and your sister playing a really intense game of capture the flag as a training thing, wouldn't miss it for the world," Masaki stated. They both said bye and went home.

<Midoriya house>

Yagi had just entered through the front door and was trying to see just how mad his parents were before he entered the living room. Without being able to tell he just went in anyway. "Where have you been!" his dad asked, trying to be calm. "I-I'm sorry, Masaki was late and she came running at me so what else was I supposed to do other than wait for her, and me doing that made me late which made me have a detention," Yagi replied. Izuku sighed before answering "Fine, I mean I was kinda hoping to get in some practise training for tomorrow, but I guess it can't be helped oh well," After that Yagi tried to go to sleep but the event at the school kept him up for another hour or 2. Who or 'what' was behind them? Did the person or 'thing' just randomly stop chasing them? Was the person or 'thing' even real?
