Nene POV ;
"NENE! -" I heard vividly as I woke up in our hideout, I was laying down on a blanket while kou was sitting right beside me, impatiently

"Huh?" I didn't feel like springing up so I just, lied still, "OH NENE YOU'RE AWAKE! ", kou hugged me tightly and such a warm hug too even..

" you're finally awake, gee, " a strange voice appeared from the corner, and there I saw him, a zombie boy
"You were asleep for the longest time, sort of like you were dead almost! " he said with a slightly nervous grin,
"Who even are you. " kou said sternly with a frustrated face, "well I'm sorry to make you mad, my name is hanako, thank you for being so nice" he said sarcastically, I giggled absent minded of course but, it was funny

"Ugh, yeah yeah, I'm not trusting you, you trash panda zombie.. " kou said while standing up, then pulling at my arm to make me get up
"Do we have any food, I'm gonna cook later and..er.. -" he whispered into my ear, "is he gonna stay here? " he pointed at hanako, picking his nose, bad sight.

"Sadly yes, look I'm sorry I didn't know this would happen," I apologized to him and he turned into a sad puppy
"Okay, no need to say sorry just yet, just keep him away from me, okay?" He said trying to light up the mood, hes such a good kid honestly..

KOU POV ;
"-okay? " I tried to seem happy in the last part so she can be happy, I like seeing her happy,
"I'm going into the kitchen to gather ingredients so I can see what Im working with, " I whispered loudly to Nene with a smile and she nodded and walked over to hanako,
I stopped smiling when she left as I walked into the kitchen and sat at the make-shift table from scrap,
"this is, wow.. "
I stood back up and held onto the chair for a second so I wouldn't fall, and started to look for the food stash.

HANAKO POV ;
"Hmm, " I wonder what was going on between those two,, "oh hey yashiro!" I said with a grin and walked in circles around her once and she just didn't smile or laugh, it confused me for once

"Hey hanako.. " she said silently looking at the floor,  I wasn't so sure about a persons feelings before I met her, even now but something was off, I don't care about her really..

But something has to be off, yk?

"Whats wrong ? " I tilted my head and kneeled down to I can see under her head, (to see her face lmao)
"Yeah, I'm, I'm really fine" she said with a sigh at the end as she closed her eyes and stepped back to sit down, I stood back up and sat in front of her and I was

Confused

KOU POV ;

"Hm" I said to myself as I looked at what I had to work with, nothing much, so I just made snacks for us to go on for a week.
"I hope teru thinks well of me when I see him again.. " I said as I held the metal staff in my two hands, staring at it, then hugging it
"I hope you two are safer than me right now. " I say to myself with hope probably for the 20th time

"Well this'll do" I grinned at what I had made, nothing big but it was worth it
I walked out into the main area, just barely though just to see hanako close to nenes face and saying something, I turned away and walked back into the kitchen thinking to myself and putting the bags onto the table with their names on them and left out the back door

"I can't believe he would get that close to her and say something too, I'm overreacting for sure but I have the right to, hes a zombie for crying out loud! " I semi-yelled that two birds sprung out of a bush to spook me a little bit.

NENE POV ;

"Huh?" I say as hanako went closer to my face and I felt,, uncomfortable as an average girl or a person would feel in this situation
"Tell me about whatever hurts you, and I'll take care of them or it for you... " he whispered to me with a sinister grin, I hated that look a little since it wasn't pleasant

"GET AWAY" I pushed him off of me and stood up, grabbing a broken chair leg, "what the heck hanako?! " I yelled at him then throwing it at his face, "eh?" He said absent minded,  "DON'T 'EH? ' ME" I shouted at him and went to my room to cool down,

HANAKO POV ;
(Not rlly)

"What did I do wrong, " I murmured to myself

KOU POV ;
(Again)
I should've brought a coat with me but I cant turn back now since it was foggy outside and nene has things going on I guess
I scoffed at what I was thinking and kept murmuring to myself then I started to kick sticks around then I accidentally hit a rock, "OW-" I yelped in pain, pathetic I know
I heard the echo of my voice, "oh shit. " I spoke out-loud, remembering that I'm quite literally in a life or death situation that I put myself into now if zombies appear suddenly, I tried to climb into a tree where I saw a fox

The fox sneezed, which startled me cause I couldn't see it until that
"Woah, what type of fox are you" I gasped and tried to pick the fox up, the fox hit my hand away and sat on the other side of the branch, "don't fall" I said trying to tell it something useful but the fox, SCOFFED AT ME?

"Well don't blame me if you fall," I scoffed back at it and the fox came to me and looked at me sassily, "you are one mean fox, you know that right?"
