The name is derived from Sombrero, hombre (Spanish for man) serenade, braid (like braiding hair, which El Sombrerón does), and brade (to move very quickly). I took inspiration from scarecrows, vaqueros/cowboys, tumbleweed, dorodango, and cornhusk dolls.

Pokédex entries: This pokemon's true body is described as incorporeal, with amorphous shadows, so it has to find materials to wear to give it the form it wants. When it befriends a person or  Pokémon, it will play a little song for them on a guitar.
