6 months passed, however Ben and Miranda were still not speaking to each other.

They would run into each other all the time, being that they stayed across the hall from one another. But Miranda thought it was so weird that he was never in any of her surgeries.

She started up another sexual relationship with Eli and sometimes that was annoying. She didn't understand what guys didn't understand about not wanting a relationship. She thought it would have been easier for men to just have sex with no strings attached.

She never brought Eli to her home because she feared the worse of Ben catching him coming out or going in. Oddly enough she still cared about what he thought of her and she thought about him all the time.

She knew that she was just stringing Eli along. Tonight was Teddy and Henry's dinner party and she forgot to invite the man for God sakes. It was ridiculous.

"Look who I ran into on the way out of the hospital." Derek announced.

"Oh Hey Ben" Mark greeted.

"I hope you don't mind Teddy and Henry." Derek stated.

"The more the merrier." Henry smiled.

Miranda looked up from the couch still shocked. Ben was here again and with that woman. It was even more awkward this time because she had Eli as her plus one. She threw her drink back and blew out a breath.

Ben turned and looked towards Miranda sitting on the couch and the smart mouth nurse sitting beside her and it honestly made his blood began to boil.

Him and this nurse had a confrontation 5 days ago and that's how he found out he was with Miranda. Nobody knew that he and Miranda were having sex other than her girl friends.

Miranda looked up at Ben again to find him staring at her. She saw a look of determination or anger in them and it caused a chill to go down her spine.

"If everyone is ready to eat than we can make our way to the dining room."

Eli extended his hand for Miranda to take and she stood slowly.

Callie, Arizona and Teddy both looked to Miranda curiously. Knowing that she was having sex with Ben just 6 months ago.

"I'm afraid we haven't met." Meredith said to Ben's date.

"I'm so sorry, everyone this is Lauren." Ben introduced

"Hi." She smiled.

"Oh are you a doctor?" Callie asked curiously.

"Oh no, I'm a surgical nurse. That is how I met Ben." She smiled.

Eli pulled out Miranda's chair for her and Miranda took a seat. She looked over at Ben as he took a seat next to her. Miranda blew out a nother breath now sandwiched between the two men she has had sex with.

"Do you two know each other?" Ben asked Lauren pointing to Eli.

"Oh no I don't"

"Oh I'm sorry I figured you might, seeing as how he is a nurse. You know nurse-nurse."

Miranda rolled her eyes at Ben. This was so embarrassing.

"How long have you two been dating?" Ben asked turning to Miranda.

"Oh God." Callie groaned.

Miranda opened and closed her mouth twice.

"2 months." Eli filled in.
