"What? Why now? Valentine's Day is more than a month away." I said to Milly as she told her plans to everyone.

"Oh come on. That's more than enough time to do this. It's simple! Just secretly give gifts or notes to your crush on a daily basis and they'll probably need more time to figure out who's leaving these things for them." Milly explained.

"I mean that does sound like a fun game." Jake agreed.

"See! I told you, Hailey!" She cheered.

"But what about those two lovebirds?" Sean asked, pointing to Zander and Luke. "Will they participate?"

"I mean if they wanted to, they could just leave obvious gifts for each other and keep flirting."

Apparently Milly informed the whole school about the game, so they could just join if they wanted to. The only ones known to be participating so far are the club and (MAYBE) Jake's friends.

"soo.. when do we start?" I asked Milly.

"I dunno. Probably tomorrow."

The bell rang and we all headed to our classes, but I couldn't focus. All I was thinking about was the Valentine's Day game, or if it's really a game. There's no way he could ever figure out who I am. He loves someone else. He loves Daisy. Jake loves Daisy, and my personality is nowhere close to what Daisy is, neither is my looks. Maybe if I try to do something Daisy always does. Maybe I'll look more attractive.

"Hailey! Do you know the answer? Hailey..? HAILEY?" I quickly snapped out and looked up at the teacher.

"oh uh.. what were you asking..?" I quietly asked him while being embarrassed. It felt humiliating to know that everyone in my class saw what happened, including Jake. My teacher sighed. "Hailey, you're obviously not paying attention." He gave me a disappointed look.

"Sorry, sir. I promise it won't happen again." I assured him.  He returned to teaching, but I could still feel the other student's eyes on me. I pretended to be unaware and kept looking down to the ground as I thought of the statements students were probably making in their head. Then the best thing happened to me, the bell rang.

It was finally time for lunch. I can finally relax and chit chat with the club; except for Jake. He was sitting with his own friends again.

"So.. has anyone planned on what they're buying for their crush?" Milly asked.

"Milly, you said it starts tomorrow!" Sean said.

"Yeah I know! She yelled quietly. "We're just planning." I sighed at her words before telling her

"Geez, Milly. You are really hyped up for this game." We all laughed.

"Oh. I have a great idea for this small grape." Luke announced while looking at Zander. "Since he's so classy or whatever, I should give him a fancy literature note." He chuckled.

Huh.. that's a good idea for something I can give. A letter. I thought. I can write down my feelings and things about me as a poem and put it in his locker. Maybe that can make it easier to figure out who I am.

I went to where Jake's locker should be. I didn't remember where it was but It was obvious. A bunch of girls were crowding one locker in particular, and since Milly told basically the whole school about it, it must've belonged to someone considered popular, and attractive to everyone. Hopefully it'll be easy for Jake to find my letter. I finally had a new motive. Something that would make me more productive.

There was crumpled paper all over my bedroom floor. I crumpled up the paper I was struggling to write on and tossed it on with all the others. I can't seem to make a good poem. Suddenly, I heard my door open.

"Hey Hailey. What are you up to?" I heard Zander's voice ask me behind the door. He then stepped in and saw all my trash on the floor.

"Huh. What's this?" He questioned.

"uhh.. It's something for Milly's game. I can't seem to make it perfect." I told him.

"A poem, huh?" Zander said as he looked at my work. "I mean, if you really want to perfect it, you should ask some members of the literature club for advice."

"You mean the one with those weird, creepy, obsessive girls? No way!" I shrugged off his suggestion. I stared at the poem on my desk before deciding to also throw it away.

"Oh, I got a better Idea. How about you become a secret admirer?" Zander suggested. I looked at him.

"It's not a bad idea, but it also makes me feel like a creep" I said.

"Whatever then. I can't help you at this point." Zander left my room, and I thought about his idea. Maybe I can try? I pulled out a new piece of paper and began writing. What do secret admirers write? Then I had it. I pulled out my pencil and began writing. I was gonna write a love letter. Even though it's close to poetry, I had something in mind. I began to feel excited. I was gonna make us even closer, and improve me and Jake's relationship between us. But I still had to deal with Daisy.

I had an idea for Daisy. I wasn't going to become like her, I was going to become her. From appearance to personality, I was going to change. I knew exactly what to do.

I began writing and soon enough, the flow was in me. I wrote a lot and looked over it many times and soon enough, I was happy with what I've come up with. Sure it was a poem, but it wasn't as good, but hopefully good enough to catch Jake's eye. I read it one more time in my head to make sure it was perfect, and indeed it was.

Jake..

You are in my mind now and I can't stop imagining you. When I look at your face, my heart beats faster and I can't describe the happiness that invades me.

When I feel your gaze upon my eyes and the thought of your hand interlocking with mine, a wonderful feeling wraps me up. You have turned my life around. I know tomorrow will be better than today because of you.

You have given me a real reason to live my life, which means you are my everything. When we hold each other tight, I would say there's nothing better.

Trust me when I say your my future soulmate, I say it from the heart.

My life revolves around you, and I can't imagine living without you. You are the most wonderful thing I have lived for. All my love for you, soul and heart.

Yours forever
