Chapter 28

Titus: Smokescreen stop squirming!

Smokescreen: But I hate baths!

I held him down then began to lick him clean, it was his bath time and he was trying to get away. Razorback already had his bath and he was cooperative about it but Smokescreen wasn't, even with how old he is I still don't trust him to clean himself. Smokescreen soon realized I wasn't going to let him go so he stopped resisting and allowed me to clean him.

I give him some last few licks behind his head then released him, he glared at me and I ignore it. I look around the base and saw that the others were gone, they must have left while I was giving these two their bath I look at Smokescreen and decided that if he was to go on missions and spend some time outside the base he'll need a vehicle mode. I transform and walked over to Jack.

Titus: Jack can you take Smokescreen out to get a vehicle mode?

Jack: Uh sure, shouldn't be too hard.

I nod then told Smokescreen about it, he got excited and immediately left the base with Jack. While their gone I switched forms and entered recharge.

(Time Skip)

I woke up to the sounds of Smokescreen entering the base in his new Alt-mode, it was a little flashy but who am I to complain I have a truck with flame patterns as a vehicle mode. Soon Ratchet called us over about another relic he has found and since he couldn't contact Optimus and the others it was up to me and Smokescreen to retrieve it, I look at Razorback and saw him asleep. Good I didn't want him going missions yet, he still has much to learn Ratchet activates the ground bridge and Smokescreen and I ran through. We transform and made our way to the relics location, we got behind cover when we saw Megatron and his Decepticons undigging the relic.

Smokescreen: Is that the Star Saber?

Titus: By the looks of it, yes. I will deal with Megatron, you go after the Star Saber.

We leap into action, I opened fire on the Vehicons then ran straight for Megatron. He fired his cannon at me and I use my sword to deflect his shots, I jump and came down at him with my sword he blocks me with his sword and we fought each other while also trying to shoot one other.

Megatron: Keep him away from the relic!

Titus: It isn't yours to keep either Megatron!

I dodge a sword swing from him then punched him, Smokescreen contacts me and tells me that the Star Saber won't move from the Mountain. I tell him to defend it while I made my way over, I kick Megatron away then ran to the Star Saber and began to pull it out of the mountain, it glowed a bright blue as I finally got it out.

Megatron: Destroy them!

I hold the Star Saber with both hands and it glowed even brighter, I do a vertical slash and a wave of energy shot out of the sword and hit the Decepticon but also sliced through the mountain. I call Ratchet to open a ground bridge while blocking blaster fire from Megatron and the remaining Vehicons, the ground bridge appears and Smokescreen and I ran through.

Smokescreen: That was amazing! I even saw it with my own optics.

He mimics the vertical slash I did and tells Razorback about me slicing through the mountain. I walk up to Optimus who has just returned from his mission with the others.

Titus: Where is the relic?

Optimus: There was no relic, only a Decepticon trick. I see you've returned with the legendary Star Saber.

Titus: The very blade my brother wielded before joining the Allspark.

I hand it over to Optimus and the moment he took it into his hands it glowed, we both stare at it unmoving. The others soon grew worried and tried calling out for us.

Ratchet: Optimus, Titus?! What's wrong? What's happening?

Optimus: We are receiving a message.

Ratchet: From who?

Titus: Alpha Trion.
