It had been a week since the whole test thing, yet Finney was still mad. Now he glares at you in the hallway, bumping into your shoulder every time he walks by you and even placing shitty notes in your locker. Fortunately, he stopped when you caught him in the act.
You sat in science, staring, slightly disgusted, at the corpse of a sprawled frog on a metal tray.
Unfortunately, you had to work in pairs and your teacher didn't give the class the satisfaction of picking their own partners. "Finney and Y/n will be working together for the rest of the week." your teacher announced, much to your dismay, but you kept quiet, unlike Finney who had to made a big deal about it and open his mouth.
"Why her!" he whined, rolling his eyes, practically throwing a tantrum in the middle of class. Our teacher was about to speak only to be cut off by another voice.
"If it isn't a problem sir, I wouldn't mind having Y/n as my partner." The voice belonged to no other than the Bruce Yamada himself, the most popular person in school. Bruce was a kind boy, for being so well known, and he was very handsome as well if I can't say so myself.
The teacher approved Bruce's request and partnered Finney with Donna. While discussing the project, Bruce and you got to know each other a lot better, even finding out that you two have a lot in common.
You laughed loudly at a joke Bruce made but stopped when you felt someone's eyes on you. Confused, you looked around the room, expecting it to be a girl who likes Bruce or something, only to see Finney Blake glaring daggers at Bruce and you.
When you made eye contact, his face flared up and his eyes switched from slits to as wide as saucers. Slightly malfunctioning, as if he were a robot, he rushed to grab something to make it seem like he was doing something, only to make a fool out of himself when he grabbed a textbook pretending to read it, only for the book to be upside down.
You continued to stare at him, completely stunned by his actions. Was Finney Blake, jealous?
