Chapter 23

After 2 years

It was a beautiful morning in seoul. Taehyung woke up to the loud sound of his alarm. He sat on the bed and wiped his sllepy eyes and checked the time. It was 7.00 in the morning so he slowly got down from the bed and walked into the bathroom to have a shower and to do his morning routine to get ready to go work.

Taehyung who was the Chief mafia of seoul is now the Mafia leader of North Chungcheong, South Chungcheong, Gangwon, Gyeonggi, North Gyeongsang and South Gyeongsang provinces. Out of the eight provices in south korea , the mafia world of 6 main provinces are under his rule. During the last 2 years, Taehyung turned into a ruthless, scary and a very strict person who doesnt hesitate to kill anyone who interrupts in his matters.  He turned into a murderous person with a very scary personality. 

Two years ago, only when he was drugged and when his life was in danger  , he realized that he was being too good for his enemies. When he got to know that he was being laughed at by his rivals for acting soft and for not killling people without a fair reason, Taehyung was pissed off and he wanted to prove what he is capable of achieving. At first he wanted act rude and scary temporarily but after sometime it became a part of his personality. He eventually turned into a cold, emotionless person. Usually mafia leaders are strict and scary but Taehyung was on another level. No one dared to speak a word against him. When Taehyung wanted to expand his territory to other areas, the mafia chiefs in those areas rivaled against him but all of them were killed my Taehyung and his men. Once Taehyung took over 6 provinces he appointed  his trustworthy men as mafia chiefs for the cities in the provinces. 

Only 3 mafia chiefs were spared by Taehyung and they were none other than Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok and Jeon Jungkook. They supported Taehyung for whatever he did because they had a very good brotherly relationship between themselves. Once Taehyung got 6 provinces under his control, he appointed his mafia hyungs and jungkook as provincial mafia leaders. Min yoongi was the provincial mafia leader of North Chungcheong, Hoseok for Gyeonggi and Jungook for Gangwon while Taehyung was the leader of all 6 provinces which were under his rule. Mr. Kim, father of Taehyung and his hyungs Namjoon and Seokjin was against Taehyung for being this ruthless and murderous. They asked, requested Taehyung to stop killing others to gain more power. But it was of no use so finally they had to agree with whatever Taehyung was doing. 

Taehyung came out of the bathroom and got ready to go to work. He walked downstairs to get his breakfast and when he was walking near the guest room, he saw the door was slighly open. He went there and looked inside and saw the woman who slept with him last night still sleeping soundly on the bed. " Ugh that bitch " Taehyung uttered called a maid who was cleaning the floor. She came to taehyung and greeted him. " Kick that woman out before i finish my breakfast" Taehyung said and walked away. 

Jimin was waiting for Taehyung in the living room. He stood up from where he was sitting when he saw Taehyung walking towards him. "Good morning Taehyung-ssi" He greeted taehyung and Taehyung greeted his friend back with a alight smile. To be honest Jimin missed his best friend's warm smile. He missed how Taehyung used to laugh and giggle whwn he was with him. But now those are just memories that Jimin treasure because Taehyung hasnt smiled warmly to anyone in a long time. He just faked a smile when he has to smile with strangers and gave a slight genuine smile only to his family, jimin, his mafia hyungs and jungkook. 

Jimin snapped out of his thoughts hearing taehyungs voice. "Jimin ssi " He was calling Jimin, his expression blank as always. "yes taehyung-ssi? sorry i zoned out " Jimin said with a smile and taehyung returned a quick smile  saying " Yes i noticed. come lets have breakfast "  With a nod Jimin followed Taehyung to the dining table where they had their breakfast in silence. Once they were done, Taehyung called Mr. Yang to drive them to the office.
