Runaway Mate

Chapter 2

Alice's POV

When I woke up I saw that I'm in some sort of clearing. I look around and there was trees, flowers, animals, a waterfall and a swing hanging from a tree. There was a girl on the swing. She had a long white dress she looked like she was glowing.

"Umm where am I, who are you? Wow this is not what I thought heavan would look like" I wonder/question "child you are not dead silly, I brought you here because you and your pups need time to heal, when I think you are ready I will send you back, but for now this is where you will stay" she replied in a care free light tone.

"how long will that be, did you say PUPS!?!?!? And why would I go back no one would miss me?" I asked "I am not sure how long, yes child you have 2 pups inside you and child come with me I will show you, because I asure you you are missed" she replied holding out her hand I reluctantly took it.

I am still very confused though I can't be pregnant I'm only 17 and with 2, I'm not sure what I will do, guess I will have to wait until I wake up.

"Look at this" she told me pointing to a screen. On the screen was me on a hospital bed looking almost dead, on either side of me was Mark and Em both holding my hands. Next to Em was Matt who was hugging her as she cried silently. Then Claire, Jackson and Johannah (Marks wife and kids) sat by Mark.

"See a lot of people care about you child, if you die now not only will you hurt them, you will also hurt your pups" I sighed knowing she was right.

Third person POV

Mark, Em and Clair were all in Al's hospital room. "So any progress?" Asked Mark "she is okay physically, but mentally she is still unstable, she has a 80% chance of waking up and being okay" she replied with a small smile.

"Okay I am gonna go talk to the alpha now, wish me luck" he replied "Good luck" they both call back as he walks out the room chuckling.

Walking out Mark got into his car and sped of to the pack house. Knocking on the door he stood back and waited for someone to answer. After around 30 seconds Luna Lucy answered the door, looking surprised to see the old beta's best friend here.

"Hello Luna, I was wondering if Alpha was in. I have something serious to talk about" he questioned politely "yes of course, right this way in his office" she replied ledding him to her husband's office "thank you"

When they arrived Luna knocked on the door, when she heard a faint "come in" she opened the door and said "Mark is here to talk to you, it seems serious" "okay, thank you sweet heart" he answered and Luna left the room.

"Hello Mark, what can I do for you?" He questioned Mark handed him a book and requested him to "please read this" alpha Tom took the book and read the page. It was about how if any pack members were in any way harmed by other pack members it was yo be brought up with the alpha king right away.

Alpha was confused as to why Mark was showing this to him so he asked "why am I reading this?" "Because a lot of the pack has harmed one of their member physically, mentality and emotionally. Because of this she is now in a coma and we are not sure if she will ever wake up.

Unless you want me to take this up with the alpha king I would let me take Alice Sanders with me and my family back to America, you will say she ran away forever and tell no one the truth, understand?" He demanded "yes" he quickly replied.

Mark took out his pocket knife and pricked his finger enough to draw blood. He hands the knife to alpha who did the same. They pressed their fingers together and said the sacred words.

"Thank you for your time sir, I will be leaving with Alice awake or not tomorrow, goodbye" Mark said walking out the door the same time Alex walked in. Mark glared at him while Alex gave him a confused look as Mark walked away.

Mark got into the car and drove back to the hospital to tell his family the news.

Alex's POV

I was walking down the hall to speak with Alpha Tom when a guy I think his name was Mike or no waitvits Mark walked out. He saw me and glared, I gave him a confused look and he just walked away.

I walk in and saw the alpha looking stressed "what was that all about?" I questioned he let out a sigh when he saw me "Alice Sanders ran away" he said quietly "WHAT!?" I yelled no, no, no, this can't be happening its all my fault.

God why did I have to be a jerk, I shouldn't have rejected her, or just stood there while she got beat up. God I'm so selfish all because I was scared of what everyone would say if I accepted her. I've had a crush on her for 4 Years but I was to stupid and stuck up, now she's gone.

"I'm sorry son, she ran away last night. They can't find her anywhere" he said sadly "no, no you're lying, she can't be gone. No, NO its not true" he said slinding down the wall, tears sliding down his face.

He looked at me sadly and started mindlinking someone while I sat there punching the wall and floor. I couldn't stop the tears as I screamed, it just wasn't fare.

5/10 minutes later my mum, dad, and best friends came in, they all had worried looks on their faces. Mum came over and pulled me into her arms, I just held her tight and cried whilst she whispered soothing words into my ear, while the others sat and talked among them selfs.

When I finally stop crying I look up at my mum, she smiles down at me and kisses Mr forehead. "You okay sweetie?" She asks softly I just shook my head 'no' "you want to talk about it?" She questions softly as if I'll brake if she doesn't.

"W-well I guess I sorta found my mate..." I started to explain when she cut me off "that's great sweetie" she exclaims "no wait, I really like her and all, but everyone else hates her, so I sort of rejected her" I say the last part in a wisper.

I heard my mums sharp intake air "but why are you crying then?" She asks "well she gets beat up everyday and a just sit there and watch, and I rejected her the day after I took her virginaty and, and now she has runaway for good, its all my fault mum, I was so mean and now she's gone" I say and the tears start again.

"Its okay sweety, its not all your fault. It is also the people who abused her's fault. No you shouldn't have slept with her and then rejected her, that was a jerky move, especially of you like her. But if you care enough to be here in tears because dje ranaway then it will all work out."

"But I rejected her, how can I get her back?" I asked confussed " well because you have alpha blood, you can take back your rejection because you and the pack need a Luna" she explained "how" I asked I would do anything to get her back, o don't care what my friends say.

" Well you say 'I 'your name' unreject 'your mates name''" she said "I Alexander Tulle unreject Alice Sanders" I said I herd a couple of people let out surprised breaths.

I turned to see all my friends but Matt with astonished looks on their faces "she ran away" questioned Jake quietly as Chris and James asked "she's your mate?!" "yeah and I'm gonna kill you" I said trying to get to Jake but my dad and the alpha held me back.

"Let me go she's gone because of them, they hurt her so much. I bet she didn't even kill her parent, we all smelt rouge on them. How can you hurt your own sister!?" I asked "I'm sorry, I know we were horrible to her, and now she's gone. But I will belive what most people say until I get proof other wise"

I growl at him "okay kids calm down, I'm guessing if she ran away she would not have taken much, so let's go to her room and see if there is any proof. Okay? Okay" my father said and started walking towards Al's room, we all followed behind.
