   I knocked on the door to the cabin three times.

'Hm...' I thought to myself. 'No answer. How odd...'

I checked the papers I was given once again. Cabin twenty-three. That's where I was.

I slowly turned the handle, and luckily the door was unlocked. It was empty inside. I seemed to be the only one there so far. I had no idea who I was rooming with. I should have just asked at the front desk. But I didn't...

"Hi hi~!" Someone shouted from behind me.

I shrieked and jumped back. "Holy hell!"

"Hey, you look familiar..." The girl said quietly, placing a finger on her chin.

I laughed nervously. "Oh, um..."

"Oh, oh, I know! You were the one who won that competition! I'm Rin! Kagamine Rin!"

"It's nice to meet you in person, Rin," I said, bowing slightly.

The blonde giggled. "Oh please, you don't have to bow! It's not like I'm royalty or anything! Anyway~ I think the other two will be here soon."

"Who will that be?" I asked.

"Gumi and Miku!"

"Miku? I was told she gets her own room every year..." I muttered.

Rin rolled her eyes. "I know, right? That was soooo annoying! I'm glad we have a new leader who removed that rule. It was super unfair!" She pouted.

I nodded in confused agreement.

"Miku is pretty bitter about it. So just ignore her abrasiveness for the next few days. She'll get over it eventually! Deep down, she's actually delightful! Just a little bit spoiled."

"Spoiled?!" Miku exclaimed, dropping her bags in the doorway.

Rin turned around. "Miku~! We were just talking about you! It was totally all good things, nothing bad at all!"

"Liar!" Miku huffed. "Oh, who's that?"

I pointed to myself. "Oh, me? I'm (Y/N)."

"Huh... (Y/N)... You're that one who was on stage... I remember you..." She said bitterly.

I looked around anxiously.

'Why does she look so pissed...?'

"Hey, hey! Let's unpack our bags. I have so many decorations this year!" Rin exclaimed, noticing the tension between Miku and me.

Miku nodded and shoved past me with her bags. "For the record. I'm taking the top bunk."

I shrugged. "I wanted bottom anyway..."

I began to unpack all of my belongings into the assigned drawers and hung up what few decorations I had.

"Hello, sluts!" A girl with green hair exclaimed, throwing the door open.

"GUMI-BEARRRRR!!!" Rin shouted, running over and hugging her.

The two girls hugged, squealed, and jumped up and down. I looked at them with confusion, yet I still smiled a bit.

"Okay, now that everyone is finally here... We should get to dinner. It starts in, like, five minutes." Miku said with annoyance.

"Right, right! Let's go!" Gumi yelled excitedly.
