Alien-Teen had just landed someplace in Laos. He was beginning to get tired from all the running and jumping he'd been doing since he left Australia.
Alien-Teen knew he had to keep going to Shanghai but needed rest.
He walked over to a ledge near a lake and sat down soaking his feet in the water. Alien-Teen stared down at his reflection in the lake. The thought of every place he'd been to being completely desolate depressed him. He could have done something about it if he'd only checked his cell phone.
During his stare down, he saw something floating near his reflection underwater. Alien-Teen looked passed his reflection and was staring at dead corpse. Alien-Teen freaked out immediately and ripped his feet out of the lake. He didn't even dare look again. He continued running after getting more motivation to check on the Chosen Ones.

Alien-Teen arrived at Shanghai almost a whole day later. Once again, he stared down a destroyed and desolate city feeling the heavy weight of doing nothing on his back. Alien-Teen continued on into the city. He began calling out to anyone who might be listening.
He didn't fear that anyone would catch him since he was pretty much stronger than most people on the planet.
"Alien-Teen?" asked a familiar voice from behind him. Alien-Teen turned around to see Robert and Sasha holding their weapons in hand.
    Robert asked, "You're really alive?"
Alien-Teen smiled at them and ran over to give them a hug.
He hugged the both of them and said, "I thought you guys were dead."
Sasha said, "We thought you were dead too."
Alien-Teen let them go and asked, "What happened?"
Sasha said, "You didn't see what happened?"
Alien-Teen said, "All I remember was falling on my head and knocking out. When I came back, the city was destroyed. People were dead. Everywhere."
Sasha and Robert looked at each other saddened.
Robert said, "There was an alien that had power. More power than I've ever seen in my life."
Alien-Teen understood and said, "Your text stated that his name was Jola."
    Robert nodded.
Alien-Teen nodded and asked, "How many survived?
Sasha said, "Everyone but a World Hero. Jola killed her. But that's not even the worst part. The aliens kidnapped a few of us that got lost during a scattering."
Alien-Teen agreed and said, "They took some of my friends."
Robert said, "So you've got a reason to fight as well."
    Alien-Teen asked, "You're all fighting?"
    Sasha and Robert both nodded.
Alien-Teen asked, "How?"

Robert and Sasha led Alien-Teen back to the shelter they'd been staying in.
The moment they stepped through the door, everyone laid their eyes on them. Alien-Teen looked at them and saw that everyone didn't look as good as he remembered them being. Giang saw Alien-Teen and nearly dropped everything she had. The sight of him gave her some type of hope. She ran over and gave him a hug.
She told him, "I'm happy that you're here."
Alien-Teen felt her shivering and couldn't tell what it was from but knew it wasn't good. He hugged her back.
From out of the kitchen came a young British man named Christopher Pace who had heard the door open. He and Alien-Teen met eyes. The two had never met before but Christopher felt the moment to introduce himself.
He slowly and dramatically made his way over to him.
Alien-Teen noticed this and asked Giang, "Is this how he always is?"
Giang shrugged since she'd only gotten to know Christopher for three months.
Christopher and Alien-Teen stood face each other. He was almost around the same height as him.
Christopher asked, "What's up mate?"
Alien-Teen said, "Nothing at all. What's up with you mate?"
Christopher shook his head and said, "Nothing."
The stare down continued until Christopher broke into a laugh and said, "I'm just messing with you."
He stuck his hand out and said, "Christopher Pace. But you can call me Chris."
Alien-Teen shook his hand with a smile and said, "Pax Lander. But you can call me Alien-Teen."
Alien-Teen noticed Christopher was missing his right arm and asked, "Did that happen during the invasion?"
Christopher looked at his arm and said, "Oh no, I got it from an alien assassin. Sliced my arm clean off."
Alien-Teen was impressed that he even survived such an injury.
Alien-Teen then looked over at Vincent Presley and Mani Yang who sat on the couch watching the entire conversation. They both waved at him and Alien-Teen gave them a quick wave. He looked around at everyone in the room and saw that they were very low on teammates.
He asked, "Is this really everyone?"
Robert nodded and but also added, "There's someone else that we want you to meet. He's not from this time period."
Alien-Teen was confused by that statement and asked, "Where's he from?"
    Sasha said, "The 19th century."
Alien-Teen was now even more puzzled and wanted to find out who this man was.
