Chapter 20: Big ol Fight

The door slid open.

".....Who's Zero?" Candy asks, but is soon cut off by Smg1 shouting.

"RUN AND GET SPUDNICK OUT OF HERE!! WE'LL-"

*BLAST!*

A sudden bolt of lightning hits Smg1 and 2, and they go flying. You whip your head in the direction they landed, only to hear a terrifying voice.

".....AVATAR....."

You turn your head back to see Spudnick getting grabbed by a weird-looking hand.

Wait....SPUDNICK!!!

You go to jump into action, but the others were three steps ahead of you. Daniel summoned an axe and started attacking it with Ellie shooting at it. Candy flew up to grab Spudnick, but was hit on the head and crash landed into the ground. Hazel took out a sword and tried to cut the hand off, but it got stuck and wouldn't budge any further.

And you were useless. Your new friend was in danger and you were just standing there. The reality of the situation finally hits you.

NONONONONONO-I GOTTA DO SOMETHING! But there's nothing around to repurpose, and I don't have any of-

"Five!" You heard a voice shout as it seemed to be getting closer. You quickly look to see it was....that navy girl that looked like you. "Quickly! Grab my hand!"

You were about to ask why, but Spudnick's scream of pain made you instinctively grab her hand.

"Okay, now concentrate real hard!" The Navy girl shouted. You obliged. Suddenly you felt....impowered. but there was no time to waste. You immediately thought of destroying that thing and you heard a loud boom.

You opened your eyes to see that the hand dropped Spudnick and turned its attention to you. You watched in terror as a.....you didn't even know what that was pulled itself out of the USB.

"THATSA HUUUUGE BISH-" Daniel started, but got cut off when it picked him up and threw him into a wall.

"Stay focused Five!" The Navy girl shouts over at you. "We need to stick together! The rest of you, hold him off while we build up the attack!"

"Got it!" Candy said as she got up from the ground. She then flew up and kicked the monster in the eye. It roars and goes to eat her, but got distracted by Ellie shooting her Splatterscope at it. The shot hit dead on and now it seemed like the thing couldn't see. It tried to get the ink off, but Candy picked up Hazel and threw him up on it's arm. He runs up to the neck, spun around, and wedged the sword in it's neck.

The thing pulls Hazel off of it and goes to throw him into the ground, but Candy quickly catches him.

You were itching to help them, you felt so useless! But something deep down told you to just wait a little bit longer...

After a bit longer, the Navy Girl shouts over to you.

"Okay, Five! Focus on launching the offensive energy at him!"

You focus on launching the energy on that thing and it gets launched back. It gets back up and looks more miffed than ever.

You get scared, but Smg1 suddenly jumps up with a black and red USB. He hits a button on it and sticks it into the monster. It gets sucked in, but it's hand tries to keep the door open.

Your knight in a scarf and

"Smg1-" You start, but he cuts you off quickly.

"NO TIME! WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE! My Guardian Pod's up on Toy mountain! Two's already taking all the newgrounds characters and anyone else up there!"

"But what about Spudnick?!" You ask, desperately.

"R-Right here...." Spudnick said shakily. You run over and hug him, then picked him up.

"Oh thank The God-I was so worried! Are you okay?!" You go to check him over, but The Navy Girl shouts over to you again.

"Five! We don't have time! While Two is evacuating everybody, we all gotta get into my USB!"

"What's the rush? We defeated that monster!" Candy smiled, but Smg1 shot her a look.

"No we didn't! He escaped last time, and he'll likely do it again! We need to get the hell out of dodge!" He shouted over the roar of the thing.

"Follow me! Five, keep Spudnick close!" The girl ordered. You obliged as you all quickly board the Guardian Pod.

You were holding Spudnick in your arms, checking him over. He had a large black crack across his eye, but overall he seemed to be okay. You hug him tightly.

"I'm so sorry Spudnick..." You whisper.

You felt him hug back. "It's okay miss London! It wasn't your fault!"

But I couldn't help save you....

"I just don't know what that monster wanted from me..." Spudnick teared up, "I didn't mean to do anything wrong, if I did something!"

"It's not your fault Spudnick....it's just, you don't know the whole story..." Smg1 tried to comfort Spudnick.

Your attention turns to the Navy girl.

"...Who ARE you?" You ask. She gives a half smile.

"You really don't remember me, huh? Okay, I'm Smg6, but you can just call me Britain!"
