Midoriya had felt the sensation before he saw it.
In the near distance lightning struck and thunder boomed casting an eery shadow on the horizon, there was nobody in sight. He recognized this sight all too well and a burning sensation emnated from within him, it was suffocating just looking around he felt as though the air was constricted within his lungs.
Huge chunks of cement and debris debris from the buildings that collapsed lay on the sidewalk, tiny gobules of red liquid were splattered all over the street only what Midoriya could dreadfully assume, in the far southwest corner he could only just vaguely make out the putrid smell of smoke and the distant flares flickering as they continue to rage towards their goal of endless destruction.
Death was everywhere, no matter how much they tried to prevent it, it was inevitable. The rain that was relentlessly cascading down his back,as if attempting to cover the decaying buildings and the fresh blood splattered around every corner of the city, washing away all the traces of blood down his fingers and sending a shiver down to his bones.
He could feel it. This was exactly reminiscent of what happened six years ago. There were no words needed for confirmation, the sight itself exposed all.
He never wanted to relive that year.
The fact of the matter was that he had no idea how he was reliving it anyway, he was certain that a few moments ago he was sure he was safely tucked in bed in his home. This had to be a dream, that was the only logical conclusion he could come up with, but over the years and countless run-ins with danger, he knew better than to turn a blind eye to these.
This wasn't the first one of these dreams where he'd been forced to relive that moment where it was just him, with only his quirk, and the stark amount of physical strength he had left, and him.
Once his eyes had adjusted to the dimness of the area, a heavy cloud blocked any areas of sunlight from entering leaving the city in blank darkness, red halows glowing in the sky as the rain continued to fall, if his senses weren't accustomed to the sheer silence that had lasted for the couple of minutes he might have missed the bulky shadow of the man casting an illumination of his figure from the lightning that cackled in the clouds almost as if alerting his presence.
All of Midoriya's muscles tightened, his breath sharpened and his teeth clenched in a grimace, his fists following in suit.
A sharp sense of electricity coursing through his arms devoid of any source. He didn't realize when his fingers started shaking until the nails dug deep through gloves into his flesh.
He'd seen that man in his dreams every night for six years, he'd thought he'd seen the last of that vile, fiendish monster when he'd seen his face disapear into nothingness his quirks turned against him weakening him allowing for Midoriya to launch the most powerful attack to date had ever used such a complex and accumulated combination of all seven quirks along with the conjoined efforts of several other heroes as well as the vestiges from inside the vestige world, the sheer force from both sides was enough to finish him off.
But there he was, like he always was in all his glory the absence of sunlight made his presence even more ominous than Midoriya would had liked, the scars inflicted upon his once disfigured face were gone,he looked younger no, in his prime, that pale unpigmented hair blowing in the winds that howled relentlessly almost pushing Midoriya back if he hadn't kept his stance looking up only for his eyes to come in perfect alignment with that vile smile his teeth gleaming as if waiting to exploit the weaknesses of others, barbaric and unrelenting.
"All for One! " He seethed barely able to contain his rage emnating from within his soul as the symbol of evil greeted him with open arms.
"We meet again Izuku Midoriya,
