"Ms. Bae, I'm sorry for suddenly asking you to come to my office" Kang Yuri, Chairman of KYR Group talking to Bae Joohyun or Irene, senior manager at one of the departments in his company

"It's okay, sir. May I know why you ask me to come to your office?" Irene asked politely. She worried if she do something that not pleased Mr. Kang because their big boss rarely call someone to meet him personally without an urgent reason

Mr. Kang chuckled seeing Irene look nervous "Don't worry, Ms. Bae. The reason I call you today is not because of work but personal"

Irene confused "Em...what is it, sir?"

Mr. Kang smiles widely "You're still single, right?"

Irene was shocked by the question "How do you know?"

"You don't need to know where I got the info. Just tell me, is it true or not?"

Irene slowly nods "Yes"

Then Mr. Kang sit straight "Good, I want you to marry my younger daughter" he stated

Irene's eyes turned wide and her face turned pale immediately "Seriously?"

The boss nodded his head "I'm serious. This is not request, this is my command"

"Why me, sir? There are a lot of men or women who suit her and are on the same level as your family. I not the right person"

Mr. Kang smiles at Irene "I know but only believe you to deal with her antics. One thing that you must remember is that Kang Seulgi is arrogant and hard-headed, unlike Seungwan. I want Seulgi to change her attitude before she joins this company. I and my wife trust you to take care of her"

Irene sigh and massage her nose bridge "I don't trust myself"

"I trust you, Irene. When you successfully change her to be a better person, you can ask anything from me. Promotion? High salary? Shares? Anything you can ask" Mr. Kang try negotiate with Irene

Irene stares at the middle aged man, making eye contact with him "Is there no other way besides getting married to her?"

"You can't control her if both of you don't have relationship. If you two married, it'll make you have rights on her. Don't worry, Irene. This marriage not involving contract. I wish you'll be her lifetime partner. You and Seungwan are close friend. I heard a lot about you from Seungwan. It's her who suggest this to us"

Since she don't want to disappoint the elder, Irene bravely take the risk "Okay then, I agree"

Mr. Kang smiles "Thanks Irene. Thank you very much" they shake hand "I will tell my wife that you are agree then we will discuss your wedding"

"Alright"

Irene goes back to her office with a grumpy face. Her best friend quickly approached her "Unnie, what with that face?" Moonbyul asked with curiosity

"Talk at my office" Irene said then Moonbyul go to Irene's office follow by Yeri, Jennie, Joy and Jisoo go to Irene office

"Tell us now" Jennie already impatient because Irene suddenly summoned by their chairman

Irene tells everything that she talked with Mr. Kang earlier. Her friends also showing shock reaction as they heard what she said

"No wonder you looked lifeless, unnie" Joy said
