Unwanted wife [Part 1]

"Ahhhhh shit!" Seulgi kick her car tire when she noticed it flattened when she is rushing to university. She pick her phone and about to call her friend when her wife appear at the door

"Seulgi, what's wrong?" Irene ask worriedly, she noticed that Seulgi frowning

"This shit makes problems early in the morning. I have early class today" Seulgi said angrily

"Let me drive you to university"

"No need, I can call Soojung to pick me up"

"I insist on Seulgi. Wait here, I will get my key and wallet" Irene run inside their house without waiting for Seulgi respond

In few minutes Irene come back with her car key and wallet then she unlocked her car quickly

"Get inside"

Seulgi stomps her feet and enters Irene's car. Irene turned on the engine and drove leaving their house. Both of them just silent all the way to university

Kang Seulgi and Bae Joohyun, also known as Irene, married each other just a few months ago. Their marriage was arranged by Seulgi's parents. Seulgi never agrees to marry Irene but her parents threaten her that they will disown her if she is still against their plan. Unlike Seulgi, Irene doesn't have a problem with the arrangement. She agreed after getting advice from her foster parents and she thinks it is the best for her.

Seulgi disagrees with Irene because she is not ready to have commitment, she still wants to enjoy her life and their age gap is wide. Irene is far older than her. She is just 20 years old while Irene is 31. She wanted to marry someone who is in her age and suit her. She never acknowledges Irene as her wife even if they stay under the same roof. That house is a gift from her parents for both of them.

The other reason Seulgi hates her marriage is her parents using her for their business. They want to merge their company with Irene's after the girl becomes part of their family. Irene runs her own business and she used to collaborate with the Kang's a few times that made Seulgi parents admire her until they decided to choose Irene as their daughter-in-law. Once Seulgi is 21 years old, she will start working at the company and Irene will monitor her. Currently, Irene runs both companies since a month she settled down with Seulgi until her wife graduated and took over her parents business.

"Seulgi, what time is your last class? I can pick you up" Irene said while driving

"I will go home with Soojung. You don't have to pick me up" Seulgi said nonchalantly

"Okay" Irene said silently

Irene pulls off in front of the university entrance. Seulgi quickly unbuckle her seatbelt and open the door but Irene call her before she step out

"Seulgi"

"What else? I'm rushing now" Seulgi rolled her eyes

"Don't skip your lunch"

"Okay," Seulgi quickly got out and closed the door. She run to the entrance while Irene watching her from the car

Irene picked her phone and called her secretary

"Hello Eunji, good morning"

"Good morning boss, why do you not arrive yet?"

"Eunji, I'm a bit late today. I drive Seulgi to school. Please postpone some of my morning schedule, okay? I will arrive around 9"

"Noted boss, drive carefully"

"Okay, thanks Eunji"

"No problem"
