A/N:you are 16 and you have abusive parents and you are very flexible
(no one's pov)it was 6:00 as you were splashed with cold water and slapped across the face to wake up.when your "mom" left your room you got out of bed and got dressed into your favorite outfit.then you got your bag that contained spare clothes,a blade,food,candy and water.then you put your shoes on and left your "room" and got in the car as you guys went to the carnival that had arrived in town.
mom:alright everyone lets go inside
everyone:*enters tent*
y/n's pov:*woah! it's my favorite colors in here!*
(no ones pov)once you all took a seat the show began and near the end a black and white clown appeared in the center of the ring and announced that he was going to pick an assistant for the final act as you help a piece of paper tightly in your palm.as the clown who's name you learned was laughing jack looked around he saw you and walked up to you.
L.j:hello dear
y/n:hello sir
L.j:*reaches out hand* would you like to come on stage
y/n:of course *smiles*
L.j:come with me dear *smiles*
(no ones pov)as you took his hand he brought you to the stage and you did the final performance together and then when it was over L.j took you backstage.
L.j:you did a very good job out there y/n

y/n:*freezes slightly*

(L.j's pov)as the kid named y/n left they handed me a note and said "thank you so much for choosing me" which i thought was a little odd.when i opened the note it read "please help me, my parents and brother are not good people".as soon as i read it i rushed out and waited for them in the parking lot and that's when i heard it.
