I can't believe I'm here with my dad it honestly feels like I'm in a dream, "I hope this rooms okay ,if you don't like it we can decorate it however you want" he says nervously scratching the back of his neck , the room was all white with a double bed , chest of drawers and a wardrobe with an en-suite bathroom I can't remember the last time I had a hot shower or a bath "dad the rooms perfect" I say his face breaks out in a massive smile.
We sit on my bed in silence until dad breaks it "so I know this is hard and a shock for both of us , but I love you Azalea and I'm so glad your back with me" dad says softly tears in his eyes , taking a deep breath I say "it's been hard without you after we left, mum moved us to Seattle" "how's your mum" he grits out anger evident in his voice, "I don't know" I breathe out getting ready to tell him what's happened in the last two years.
Dads still Sat there looking at me "what do you mean you don't know" he asks softly , "she kicked me out two years back haven't seen or heard from her since" I breathe out quickly trying to rip the band aid off I can see the anger swelling up in his eyes. Taking a deep breath I start to explain "after we moved to Seattle mum started doing more drugs, she was high all the time she acted like everything was my fault and treated me like a maid, made me get her drugs clean the house and refused to let me go to school, luckily I sneaked of to the library and taught myself a lot. It was same routine for 6 years until she got a boyfriend when I was 15 he treated me like I was nothing only thing he enjoyed was drugs , a couple of days after my 16th birthday I overheard them talking he kept telling her either get rid of me or he'll leave she kicked me out after that with only the clothes I had on, luckily I took $100 out her purse before,after that I travelled to Texas looking for you money ran out and after that I ended up on streets" I say all in one with tears flowing freely down my face looking at my dad I see angry tears. "I will never let you be alone again, your my daughter I love you more than anyone I will never let you go back there" he says engulfing me in a hug, when we break apart dad hands me his phone and credit card "here order what you need clothes , toiletries, shoes anything you'd like" dad stands up and goes to the door "I'll bring you some clothes in the meantime" he says "thanks dad" I say.
It's been two hours since dad left and I've ordered what I need to ,for next day delivery. I put the phone and card on the dresser and go into the bathroom I start stripping my clothes off and get into the warm shower I wash my hair and body , feeling the warm water feels so good it's been so long , after I'm done I step out of the shower and dry myself off and get dressed into the new clothes dad left me on the side, after I finished getting dressed I was interrupted by a knock on my door.Opening the door I see the blue eyed beauty from downstairs.
"Hi" I breathe out "hey" he says wow his voice is like silk, "oh sorry do you want to come in" I say quickly forgetting I was just staring into his eyes, he looked shocked but quickly recovered he walks in towering over my small frame "Beast" he says "I'm Beast" "Azalea" I say smiling at him "beautiful" I hear him mutter I can't help the way my heart fluttered when I heard him say that.
