TW: Really fucking heavy violence
"Huh? U.A? That's what you're going for?" A voice called out. The day was particularly bright, as the sun shone down on the schoolgrounds of Nabu Middle School. Classes had yet to start, so students took this time inside their classrooms to chat about.
In the second to front row of desks, next to a window, was a girl with long absent-coloured hair sprawled everywhere, and black horns. Saishi was laying her head on her arms, glancing up at the excited voice.
"Don't get me wrong, your Quirk is... kinda scary... but I'm sure you're gonna do great in the Entrance Exam!" The student called out again. Saishi tried processing what she was hearing, before scrambling upright into her seat.
"Th-Thank-" She squeaked out, with her mind already failing to comprehend the compliment...
Until she realised that student was talking to someone else. The boy in the seat in front. She'd recognize the wavy indigo hair easily. The previously excited student was talking to Hitoshi Shinso: Another student in her class.
Saishi stared blankly with polka dot eyes, in realisation of her false excitement. The rest of her embarrassed expression was hidden under her black privacy mask. The brown haired boy talking to Hitoshi quickly noticed Saishi looking over at them, before a bead of sweat dropped down from his head. He then looked back at Hitoshi in a hurry. "U-Uhhhhhh... Well, class is starting soon, so... I'll just... leave you to it."
The boy quickly dashed away in an instant to his seat, prompting Hitoshi to look over his shoulder in confusion. This caused Saishi to slump forward onto her desk again, before looking away in shame. "Sorry...."
She didn't know what the indigo haired boy thought of her, given he presumably gets similar comments... How they're both treated like Villains. His Brainwashing Quirk is often regarded as a Villains power... but he seems like a decent person? Was Saishi jealous? Jealous that people still treat Hitoshi well enough despite his Quirk?
She wanted to at least try and befriend anyone, but her body refused to even attempt becoming Hitoshi's friend. Her social ignorance through a lack of friends during most of her life led to her struggling to make the first move, which had been further fueled by how nobody even wants to approach her at all to begin with.
But then, her spiralling thoughts stopped as the teacher of the class walked in. A man with short black hair, and a scary looking Quirk that put mouths in the place of his eyes, and an eye where the mouth should be. Everyone scrambled to their seats as class began.
With a tired sigh, the teacher spoke with two different toned voices layered over each other. "Everyone here? Good." He echoed nonchalantly, not even waiting for a response. "Great job on your exams, yadda yadda. I'm gonna miss you all, yadda yadda." Clearly not really caring, he just hurried through to get to the point. "But as your curriculum here in Nabu Middle School is ending, this is the time you need to think about your future... or something."
The whole class was left dumbfounded, yet used to this teacher not really taking anything seriously. Suddenly, the teacher grabbed a pile of pages from his bag, splitting them between every student in the front row. "So just fill out what School you're aiming for or something. I don't really care, I already can guess all your answers."
Being in the front, Hitoshi was handed a stack of sheets meant to be passed down behind him. "This guy could at least take this part of all things more seriously" He thought to himself, taking one of the sheets for himself, and holding the rest behind his head. "Hey." He said, prompting the girl behind him to take them.
Seconds pass though, and he speaks again. "Kyosei." He says, trying again, yet to no avail.
With a sigh, he turns around in his seat to look at the white haired girl. She was still slumped over on her desk, but she had two fingers pointed at each other, as small beams of light blue energy shot from her fingertips, clashing in the centre. Saishi was already distracted and lost in thought.
