"ever thought of sneaking out?" cyn ask, you shake your head no.
"i doubt i'd even make it outside, my dad would probably catch me before i even get a chance to open the window." you explain. cyn chuckles, and grabs your hand.
"i gotta show you something, you gotta keep this a secret." she then drags you to a place nearby the princes castle and starts digging. she pulls out a bag and unzips it. "you see all of these beauties?—"
"have you been stealing.?" you ask observing the bag of jewelry.
"i have but look they've been catching on to me lately and i really need help!" cyn desperately says. you shake your head "no".
"i'm not doing it, cy." you say, she grabs your hand and places a jewel in your hand.
"look, we can share the money once i cell these! just please help me!" she begs. you sigh and give in.
"..alright, but if i get caught i'm blaming it on you." you say and she smiles, she puts the jewel back in the bag and covers it up with sand again.
"see you at 12:50?" she questions, you nod. "don't be arrive before that time because before 12:50 the guards are really secure at those times and they switch out directly at that time." she explains.
"how long have you been doing this??" you ask, it was quite concerning that she knew the guards schedule by heart.
"for almost half a year now!" she smugly says.
"and they're now catching on to you?" you question, "those are some terrible castle guards if you ask me." you add.
"they really are but, i think we should get going. your dad must be freaking out by now." cyn says, "welp, cya later." she says walking off.
you wave goodbye and start walking home.

you were in your bed scrolling through your phone waiting for your dad to go to sleep.
it was currently 12:10 and you still haven't heard snoring from your dad's room yet. you decided to text cyn to see what she's doing

you sigh and get up, you pull out a bag from under your bed and walk over to your window. you take a deep breath unlocking it until sandy walked in to give you some (favorite candy). you look at her with a nervous smile.
"hi auntie.." you mumble. she sighs and calls out for gene.
you panic and shut the window. you take off the bag and kick it under your bed.
"what is it, sandy..?" gene asks yawning.
"well i caught your child sneaking out." sandy explains, gene looks at you.
"it's cyn's fault! i was pressured into this!" you say but he did not believe you. he floats away to his room and you grab your phone.

"the new ice cream place that opened in nimbus, i heard that they have so many variations of flavors!" you explains. she walks out your room and runs into the front.
"come on, name! i want to try this place out too!" she says. you climb back into your room and shut the window.
you walk out your room to see your mom already to go.
"hurry up, i want my ice cream." she demands.
"alright, alright!" you say, giggling.

both of them caught you. they needed your decision on something and they just see you sneaking back in through the front door.
"hi, mom..hi, bro.." you say waving. christian was just standing there and sophie sighs.
"what's your excuse this time?" she asks putting her hand on her hip.
"did you slip out your window or trip into another dimension while practicing magic?" christian questions.
"i have officially run out of excuse, i will take myself to my room. goodnight you two, love you" you say, walking past the two.
"don't think you're getting out a punishment, kiddo. it's already decided for tomorrow." sophie shouts as you shut your door.

you didn't even know that you were being loud until your dad burst in your room.

stan was on the couch watching tv on the verge of dozing off until he heard glass break coming from your room.
you were already out the window until you felt the vibrations of your dad's footsteps getting really close.
"name what the heck?!" he technically yells in sign language. "what are you doing?! you know you can't sneak out! what if someone is following you and you don't notice?!" he says. you sigh and climb back up. he was really mad, and you knew that since he was tapping his foot.
"go put your pajamas back on, you're grounded for two weeks." he says.

you learned your lesson after that.
