Blue POV

"SIS!" I hugged her and she hugs back. "I'm so glad you're here!" My tail was wagging and I kept hugging her.

"Heh I'm also glad Blue also hi Dad!" She also hugs our dad I smiled and looked at my phone to text Shade.

Blue's Phone

Blue: SHADE! You can come over now! Here's the address XXXXXXX

Over some time Shade message me 'ok' so I smiled. And helps my sis take her stuff to her room. She still has her room after all this time... The only thing that would make this time great is if our mom was here. I miss her so much.

"Shade is on his way now"

"Ok! Can't wait to see him again it's been years" wait... I don't think I told her that Shade is half demon... I wonder how she's gonna take it I hope... She doesn't hate him... I do want to ask him out but I don't know right now. I was with my dad and sis finishing up making the food then I heard the door bell.

"I'll get it!" I ran over to the door and opened it to see Shade. "Shade!" I hugged him and I felt him hug back.

"Hey Blue... Um... You sure it's ok that I'm here?"

"Yea now come in! We are finishing up making the food" I grad Shade's hand and walked into the house with him and close the door. My tail was wagging a bit.

"Hey kiddo just sit at the table ok?"

"Ok! Come on" I walked to the table with Shade and sat down. He sits down by me so I just smiled and chatted with Shade til the food got here... What do bears eat? Most of the time I just see him eating a sandwich. Huh I should have asked him first before all of this. Then I saw my dad walk over.

"Hey Shade just asking if you're ok with eating broccoli soup?"

"Yea I'm fine with that Sir" I looked at Shade to notice him shaking a bit. After my dad walked away I looked at Shade.

"Don't be scared Shade... My dad already knows you're half demon... I haven't told my sister yet tho"

Shade POV

I was shaking a bit and nod.

"Yes yes I know. .. Just a little nervous that's all" I felt Blue pat my back so I looked over at him.

"You're ok" he lays his head on my arm causing my tail to wag a bit but he got up when his sister and dad walk in. His sister doesn't look too different from the last time I saw her... Well of course she's older now.

"Wow Shade! You changed quite a bit what happen? Your left ear is missing... And you have a scar over your right t eye"

"Yea yea I'm fine... Just a bit of stuff happen" why am I so nervous? I watch as they out the pot down and they gave us our bowls... I think Imma just wait a bit because I don't know what they do before they eat.

"Shade? You're not gonna eat?"

"Oh no I am Blue it's just... You know some families sometimes do something before they eat... So I was just waiting" he only smiles and he serves himself and I serve myself... Broccoli soup... Never had it before so wonder how it is. I ate some and... Wow not bad it's pretty good. I ate the soup with them and listen to them chat.

"So... Shade do you think I should tell her?" Oh right his sister doesn't know.

"Tell me what? Are you 2 dating!?" I blushed and shake my head no.

"What? Nonono um... Blue wanted to tell you that um... With the time I was gone... I became half demon... I don't want to get into the details... Not yet at least" my ear lowers just waiting to get maybe yelled at or something...

"You're a demon?" I slowly nod my head and look down... I know people here hate demons. "Hey don't look down ok? That's fine I meet a demon when I was at college... He was... A bit weird but nice in his own way"

"Wait... Was he a black bear with red horns? With a stomach mouth?"

"Yea... He was always with a golden bear... But the demon bear was quiet people were saying he's mute" that's Nightmare... He's still here! "Do you know him?"

"Y-yea! He's an old friend of mine and he's not mute he just never like socializing with others... After I became half demon I was gonna ask him about stuff" but now the trick is... To find him after this... I don't even know where her college is and how long ago this was. And to be even more clear I haven't spoken to Nightmare... The last thing I told him was I was moving and that was it. I do wish I had kept in touch with him but we were fucking kids we didn't have phones... I think?
