No One POV

Shade and Shadow were sitting with their grandparents. Shade was shaking a bit and not really listening up until Shadow tap his shoulder.

"Hey relax ok? What do you want to eat?" Shade looked at the menu.

"Just... The bacon sandwich and a coffee" he told Shadow. Shadow only nods. They waited for their food to come. There was no talk with in them, but then.

"So you boys don't know anything about your parents right?" Asked their grandmother.

"Yea that right... Well to be honest we don't know anything about our biological family. The only thing we knew is just that they are bears that's it" answered Shadow, Shade only nods still being quiet.

"Are you alright?" Shade looks up to see that his grandfather asked him that.

"O-oh yea I'm fine just a bit nervous that's all" Shade said back then he looks back down at the table. He also didn't know that people were staring at him so that just made him more nervous. "It's our first time meeting biological family after all... Not like our adopted family is much of a family to begin with"

"Shade... Why did you say that?" Shade then realize what he said. He looks up again to see his grandparents looking at him.

Shade POV

Ah shit... Now they are gonna ask questions... Why did I just stay quiet?

"What do you mean by that Shade? That they are not much if a family?"

"Well... I never really got a long with them... Not after something happen that I don't really want to talk about yet" maybe... They already noticed I have a demon tail... If not I already know I have to tell them... But I'm not ready for that yet. They both seemed to understand then they didn't ask anything about them. Just about how we are doing and everything like that.

"Shade... Shade!"

"Huh? What Shadow?"

"Idiot... They asked you something" I look over at my grandparents.

"Yes?"

"Well! Shade dear. Do you have a girlfriend or boyfriend?" My grandmother ask. I only blush.

"What?! N-nonono I don't have one but... I do think someone is cute but we're not even dating"

"You forgot the 'yet' Shade"

"Oh shut up Shadow!" I was only blushing.

Blue POV

I was holding my phone looking at the text. I wanna ask Shade out on a date I really do. But I don't know how to ask maybe I'm just scared to ask him. I looked over at my sister to see her sitting on my bed.

"Hey Moon(Blue's sis name) can I ask you something?"

"Sure what's up?"

"How do you ask someone out on a date? I have a crush on Shade... I wanna ask him out but I'm scared too" she walks over to me.

"Well you can ask him out for dinner or a movie maybe even both" I nod. "You don't need to be scared Blue" she pats my head and I just smiled. I looked at my phone and send the text.

Blue's phone

Me: hey Shade wanna go on a date sometime?

Back to Blue

I know he's busy right now. He said he's hanging out with Shadow today do I'll just wait... I'm a bit scared now.
