life... pretty boring, right? to adriana, well...

yup, it certainly is.

it's been a few days, maybe even weeks without any contact with her best friend, and so far, things have been boring. she has school to worry about, boys to avoid (please grow another head with a functioning brain and working eyes, and leave her alone), home and family to worry about — well, the last one, maybe that's a story for another time.

but — yeah, those stuff.

she's growing up... and she had to admit — it sucks. not because she's being a lot more responsible (ever since her best friend left, okay?) but because if there was one thing that adriana wanted to happen, is that her best friend was there. there with her where they would experience it together.

she's been best friends with piper for only about three months, but once you get to know her — it almost feels like she's known piper since... forever.

okay — adriana knows that she's been missing her best friend and sulking when she couldn't contact her... but a holographic — thing — of her just randomly appeared across her is just... was that too much — or did she drown herself in too many sugary sweets to the point of hallucinating piper mclean, (looking more than healthy and perfect), to be infront of her?

maybe not in front of her physically but... holographically? she never thought it was even possible to begin with — but maybe, adriana's just hallucinating. she had to be, it's just... so unreal and impossible.

so no, this is just a hallucination, and adriana definitely needs to lessen her sweets schedule and add more sleep time —

"a-adri?"

fuck, so she wasn't hallucinating?

"wait, oh my god — pipes?!" adriana yells, much to the amusement of the dark skinned girl who looked... almost awkward — was she scared? "i — wait, hold on, how?! did you tony stark yourself or what?"

"i... really don't know..." piper sighs, looking away from the girl, unaware that her actions caused a pang in adriana's heart. she had to... she couldn't exactly tell adriana about her life as a demigod — she knows how her best friend will act if she knew. but, she still looked back, a gentle smile on her face as she sets her eyes on adriana, "at least i got to contact you, right?"

"right..." adriana mumbles, biting her lip as her face flushes a deep shade of red. "i... missed you."

"i missed you too, adri," piper admits, and just like that — adriana flushed under the girl's gaze, the smile on piper's face was more than enough for the sapphic to have a mini bi-panic inside. "so tell me, how are you? is danny — "

without missing a beat, the blonde answered, "horrible without you."
