"I've stocked up on food and water. The walk is quite far so if you need to take a rest just tell me." Ruby stated. You simply nodded in reply. The walk was quiet and...quite awkward.
You haven't been into Dragonspine due to the load of updates Sumeru has offered but you felt a sense of nostalgia...you didn't make Dragonspine your first 100% exploration for nothing.
The route Ruby took was devoid of any potential enemies, which is probably why it felt a bit...off. There was no fighting, no battle ost, no quick-thinking techniques...just a peaceful walk.

After some time you arrived near a very familiar landmark. "Stay here for a moment. I'm not sure if the current place I reside would be safe for you." Ruby said as he left his satchel to you and went inside Durin's remains. You sat on the snow next to one of the bonfire torches was you wait to rest your feet.
'Right...Durin was corrupted. I forgot about that...' You sigh as you ate one of the sunsettias as it was slowly becoming your go-to snack.
Suddenly something came out of the ground, startling you.
"Ah!" The sunsettia you were previously holding, now rolled off into the snow as you dropped it. A small whopperflower glares at you with it's beady ruby eyes and looked like it was gonna attack.
"Stop." Ruby's commanding voice makes both of you turn to him. "I told you, you can't attack without my command." The whopperflower's leaves drooped down, as if apologizing.
You look at Ruby, then the whopperflower, then back at Ruby. He quickly notices your confusion and explains, "This is the whopperflower I have experimented on recently. It's called the Fellflower."
Suddenly everything made sense, the fact that it's eyes are ruby instead of yellow, the hints of the same shade of ruby on the tips of it's leaved. 'Oh. So, I'm currently in the time after 2.3'
"It's quite attached to me so maybe the fact you were nearby alerted it." Ruby stated. "Why is it...?" "It suffered a fatal injury and is currently recovering."
"I see..." You look back at the Fellflower with a smile, "Nice to meet you, Fellflower."
