"Come back here" Sir Clanol said with no emotion at all in his voice, "I am not done with you"

Baillie froze in her spot, why was he calling her back, she had only a few hours left.
"Yes Sir?" She answered as she turned to face him. "Come closer" Clanol said like he had no patience with her and truly he didn't.
"Go to my study and get me my coat" he said not bothering to look up as he began digging into the food she just brought. "I will be going to visit Lord Glenn soon, so polish my boots as well"
"Is that all sir?" Baillie sheepishly asked."Yes, be gone " Sir Clanol said with a wave of his hand, dismissing her.

Baillie rushed to carry out the chores given to her and also informed the footman to prepare his carriage.

"Sir, your coat and boots" she said as she gave him the items. Sir Clanol just took it with a nod and put the coat and boots on. He looked at the boots and couldn't help but be amazed at how shiny it looks, even his private butler who has served him to perfection for years has never polished his boots this way. This girl is truly remarkable in more ways than  one, he thought, too bad she has to go.

"Did you inform the footman I will be leaving soon?"
"Yes Sir, the carriage is already at the entrance of the manor, awaiting you sir" she said. He nodded at her words, grabbed a few things from his table and began striding in his noble manner towards the door of his study, when he suddenly stopped and turned around and truly looked at the slave for the first time since she was bought into his brother's household, she is quite beautiful, he thought.
"I trust you will behave yourself while I'm out, you do not want to anger your master or mistress" he told her. He turned and continued walking before adding  "And Baillie, do what is right by you" and then he went out of the house into his carriage. As the carriage began to move past the house, he looked at the magnificent manor which may be described as beautiful, but he just can't call it that, not with all the evil he knows happens inside.
He just hoped the girl got his message, he sighed and looked ahead trying to think of a reason he could give to Lord Glenn for his sudden visit, once he reaches his dwelling, that would be sensible. But he just couldn't get his mind off the fair slave and how her life could have possibly been if she were born a noble. He mentally scolded himself for thinking about her, he is not someone who usually cares for others, as a matter of fact he never cares for others, especially those who are not his mother or brother. He sighed again and really put her at the back of his mind this time. He has given her the chance she needs if she doesn't take it then she is not as smart as he thought.

"And Baillie, do what is right by you"
What on earth did he mean by that? Baillie thought, suddenly something clicked in her mind "Could he mean..... No, no way he could have known about that, I have been very secretive about it and have given nothing away to be discovered. Definitely he meant something else" she murmured to herself. Whatever he meant, it won't stop her. She looked outside her window, the sky had a beautiful orange hue added to its usual blue, meaning nighttime isn't far away any more. She had to move fast before her master and that witch he calls his wife returns.

She went to her sleeping corner in the servants quarters, pulled out a big bundle in which were all she owned and some necessities she will need like food and water. She then pulled out an old but still usable cloak she found two weeks ago in the Attic when she was still in the planning stage, it was as though the heavens were providing for her.
I am ready, she thought, mentally ticking off all she needed. Weapon. I will pick a knife from the kitchen on the way out. With that she tied the bundle on her belly, put on a bigger gown and then donned on the cloak. She looked around the servants hall and decided that there's nothing she would miss, in fact in the whole house nothing she would miss even a little and no one too, well except her friend, Sophi. As she was about to leave, someone suddenly burst in."Sophi, what is it?!"
"Are you really going to try and escape?what if they catch you?what if they try to kill you?How will I cope?" Sophi asked all at once, ignoring Baillie's previous question, her voice getting higher with each question, at the last one  tears are threatening to pour out.
