Never in my dream that I'll be in dilemma like this: choosing if I'll admit it and confess my privy strong affection feeling to his outburst question, or I'll just simply denied it.

Yes, it passed in mind that there'll be a time to confess him, but not in the situation like this. I always told to myself that I must always hide my affection towards him. I convinced myself that this was all infatuation and I'll able to forget him soon, but when will it happen? If I already fell deeply in love with him?

Wait. What deeply in love? Did I said those words? Falling in love with him is also like falling in a cliff. No guarantee, no safety net, that's why It was terrifying and I know, in the end, I will get hurt.

"Just--just never mind" He got on his feet, closing the book that's he's reading

I stood up and hold his hand on the table, making him refrain from what he's doing. My knees almost melt and my heart wants to jumped out from my ribcage as I felt his flesh against mine and when our eyes met.

This is now or never! I shouted in my mind

"Xiumin.. I-I..I.." His dark eyes is so beautiful and it's distracting me

"What?"

"I...I-I.." I squeezed his hand, trying to get courage through this gesture

Suddenly, an incessant knock from the door interrupted our moment.

Xiumin snapped his head to the wooden door's direction and looked back at me.

"What now Luhan? I'll open the door before someone will crashed it"

"I..I-I want water"

Xiumin frowned and get off his hand from the table

"Get it on the kitchen, I'll just open the door"

Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

I cursed myself under my breathe. I'm so chicken!

I closed my eyes and rubbed my face frustratedly. Yeah right, my confession was futile and I ended up requesting a freaking water. You can't blame me, this was the first time I attempt a confession and the worst is, in a person who never see me appealing

"What do you want?"

I tilted my head to the direction of the door and saw a smiling Sehun who stepped in. He's handling a plastic bag that I don't know what's the contain

"I bring you some food" His gaze averted in my direction and his expression turns into surprise

"What he is doing here?" His eyes landed on my shirt

"And why he wore that shirt that I gave to you?"

My eyes landed into the printed shirt. It has a red colored heart with a three words inside of it, I love you.

I made a mental note to burn this piece of cloth later. It's so mushy

"He's drunk last night and I brought him here"

Sehun nodded, glancing at me irritatedly

"Did..Did something happened with you two last night?"

"N--"

"What if we did it? Stop querying about us, you're just his friend"

Xiumin glared at me, sending me deadly daggers from his dark eyes

"Nothing happened last night, Sehun. It's just his delusion" He stated. He took the plastic bag and mouthed thanks

"Is that so?" He asked, seems he was relief "I gotta go, bye Minie~" He said after a mere of seconds and left

"Stop inventing stories, Luhan" He lectured right away

I shook my head with a smirk playing in my lips.

"Did you brought my car?" I asked, changing the topic

"No. I don't know that you brought your car at the bar" He went in the table and gathered the utensils that we have used.

I scratched the back of my head. I also left my phone inside my car

"May I borrow your phone?"

He took his phone on the small bookshelves to his mini living room and handled it to me.

"Here"

"Thanks baozi"

"You're so immature like a child" He slurred

"No, I'm not. I'm just manly"

He ignored my last remark and walks away

I contacted my driver to bring my car to my apartment and sent Xiumin's contact number to my cellphone.

Because I was curious about Xiumin.
I went to his inbox and I saw that there's only a single message. Seems it was received yesterday seeing the date. I reluctantly opened it and read it.

From: Unregistered number

You'll pay for all you've done Kim Min Seok!

I frowned and punched the back button when I saw Xiumin appeared in front of me

"Done?"

I timidly nodded and he grabbed his phone from my hand.

I gave him a peering look without uttering a word. Somehow, there's an urge on me not to narrate the message that I've read. I'm sure he already read it.

"What?" He gave me a suspicious look

"Nothing"
