Jungwon left her room about an hour later. Tears streamed down his face as he sat down on the floor, a few steps away from her door. It was one thing that he was in disbelief that she wouldn't tell him about her cancer, but another when he realized Sua could possibly die if she didn't get better. His heart shattered and felt hopeless in this situation. All his life, he did so much with Sua and this was the first time he couldn't do anything to help her.
He left the hospital with puffy red eyes and glistening eyes from his tears. Seri was still waiting in the lobby for him. She gave him a sympathetic smile and walked over to him.
"Are you okay?" she asked him, wrapping her arm over his shoulders.
"No," he responded softly, making him sound so small.
"Have faith in her," she exclaimed, comforting, "Sua is so much stronger than we realize. She's a fighter. She's been one since she was little."

A month passed and Jungwon frequently visited the hospital after that day. Sua seemed happier too. Jungwon would bring Sua fresh flowers every time he would get the chance. He remembered the elegant primroses in her room and would place them in a vase whenever the flowers seemed to wither.
They would play card games and eat lunch and dinner in her room. When the Australian Open started he made sure he watched with her. After all, Sua loved tennis and he loved her. He was willing to do everything with Sua because she completed him.
Every day after school, Jungwon would go visit Sua. The moment the bell rang he jetted out, ignoring his friends because Sua was the only thing on his mind. To be frank, he was doubtful of how much longer he had with her.
On the other hand, Sunoo and Ni-ki were offended by Jungwon's sudden disappearance. It was like he didn't even matter to them anymore and they were genuinely concerned for him. After loads of discussion, Sunoo and Ni-ki were serious about having a conversation with Jungwon, after all, he was their friend.
"Ya, Jungwon-ah," Sunoo called as he caught Jungwon trying to run out of the school building.
Jungwon paused his steps and turned around. He saw Sunoo with a slightly ticked-off facial expression and Ni-ki with a hostile look on his face.
"Where the hell have you been for the past month?" Sunoo exclaimed pissed, "You go running out of the school building once the bell rings and we can't even get a hold of you."
"Jungwon hyung, we're just worried about you," Ni-ki added.
Jungwon sighed deeply. "I'm sorry guys. I didn't mean to hurt you like this. But something came up and I don't know how much time I have left so I'm trying to make every moment count you know."
"But you're not going to tell us?" Sunoo questioned skeptically.
"I'm sorry, but I don't know if I'm allowed to say just yet. After all, I just found out last month," Jungwon muttered.
"Seriously? Fine be that way. Don't tell us anything because we're friends that you don't need. If we're even friends. Whatever... let's go Ni-ki," Sunoo shook his head, walking away from Jungwon.
"Sunoo hyung-" Ni-ki called, "Sorry Jungwon hyung. I'll talk to him. He's just upset as you can see. I promise we'll clear this up. Just give him a little time."
"Fine, it's about Sua," Jungwon blurted.
Sunoo stopped walking and turned back to Jungwon.
"Sua? You found her?" Sunoo asked bewildered.
"Something like that. But that's why I haven't been around a lot. And honestly, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to tell you anything because she was really hesitant. So would you please just give me a little more time?" Jungwon pleaded, looking earnestly into Sunoo's eyes.
"You like her that much?" Sunoo gave him a small smile, shaking his head.
"Yeah. I've liked her all my life."
"Well hyungs, it can't be helped," Ni-ki butted in wrapping his right arm over Jungwon's neck and left arm over Sunoo's, "Our friend here is down bad. I think we should let this slide, right?"
"Fine, just this once, Jungwon. But please, don't leave us hanging. Talk to us. We're your friends for a reason."
Jungwon smiled warmly. "Thanks, Sunoo hyung."
