So after the whole fiasco at Easter with Levi, Melanie told me that she didn't like him anymore. I was ecstatic on the inside, but played it cool on the outside. Maybe I would have a chance with him!
I love high school. Levi is in most of my classes and so we do a lot of projects and homework together. It's fun.
It's been about a month since school started. So that means it's been about 5 months since I first met Levi. I can't stop thinking about him. But I still make sure that school is my #1 priority. School, Church, then Levi.
I keep telling myself that Levi doesn't like me, but there's still a spark of hope, kindling in my heart, and whenever I was next to Levi, talked with Levi, or did anything with Levi, the fire in my heart grew. It had grown and grown for five months now. But I kept putting some water on my love fire, convincing myself it was just a silly crush, and I was in a fantasy to think he liked me back.
Today, we're done with 6 weeks of school. Probably the best 6 weeks of my life. But also the busiest. My schedule looked something like this.
Wake up
6:00
Get ready for school
6:00-7:00
School
7:00-4:00
Homework
4:30-5:00
Dinner
5:00-6:30
Finish homework+study
6:30-8:00
Get ready for tomorrow
8:00-8:15
Watch T. V, text, go to bed
8:15-9:30
So that's my basic schedule for the day. Yeah it's not too busy, but I sometimes hang with Melanie, Cherie, Daisy, or Hazel. Sometimes all together.
They are my main group of friends. Hazel goes to our church, but the rest of us go to the same school. We all have biology and math together.
Melanie is super sweet. With most people. But when she has a passion, as in making the volleyball team, she doesn't stop until she gets what she wants. We call her tiger.
Cherie is very shy. She doesn't like talking to people out of her friend group, she says she would rather read a book. We call her our little secret, cause not many know she even HAS friends. We also go to a big school.
Daisy is a mix of both. She can be shy, she can also be outgoing. It depends of the day, and ultimately, her mood. But no matter what her mood is, when she's with her close friends (me, Cherie and Melanie ), she is super protective for some reason. If anyone says a meanish comment to us, put some water on her, cause that girls on FIRE. We call her bloom.
Another thing about my schedule, yeah I go to bed pretty early, but sleep is important! If I go to bed past 10, then I AM VERY CRANKY the next day. Just a well known fact in my family. If I stay up that late on a school day: watch out for Coco.
Thankfully, today's Friday, and I've already finished my homework and eaten dinner. I'm sitting in our "lounge room" scrolling through my phone when a text message comes.
