Chapter 2

Atsumu's POV

We walked into the classroom once the door was opened. The chatter that seemed to be going on had stopped and now all eyes were on us. Ms. Snake didn't look all that pleased with us being here and neither did the dude standing a few feet away from her. He had black curls that covered a part of his face and he seemed bored. He was just standing there watching as me and Kawa came into the classroom before the other one who had gotten up to open the door for us, closed it and came back to sit down. He had brown hair, a bit messy and he didn't seem all that excited to be here either.

I looked over to Toru who must have felt my gaze because he looked at me as well. We exchanged a look, as if asking each other 'what the hell was going on?' before our attention was brought back to Ms. Snake as she spoke.

"I see it's just the two of you." She said, stating the obvious.

"Yeah....our parents couldn't make it. Sorry." Toru replied, using the same slightly annoyed tone she used.

"Well- no matter. There isn't much time before classes begin so I think we should make this quick. This is Sakusa Kiyoomi and Iwaizumi Hajime. You might recognize them considering they are some of our top students here at the academy." As soon as she got to mentioning them, she sounded so much more positive. We had no idea in fact who these two were, and couldn't care less. I could see from the corner of my eye, Toru rolling his eyes which almost made me giggle but I held it in. Instead, I found myself with a small grin on my face despite trying to keep a neutral expression.

"What do they have to do with this meeting? I thought you wanted to just speak to us?" I asked, wondering why they were even present in the topic.

"Well that was the case...But considering your records and behaviors, I thought it'd be best if i were to actually do something about it. That's when I came up with the idea. These two gentlemen will be watching you both for the next couple of months, making sure you don't cause any more trouble."

"So you want them to babysit us?" Came Toru's voice.

"I wouldn't think of it as babysitting...but if that's what you'll call it then so be it. I have already made the arrangements and you and Mr.Miya over here, will be attending the same classes as the both of them."

"We're not even at the same level-" Before I could continue, I was interrupted by the one with the black hair, Sakusa I think.
"You two will be receiving the same work that you would in your regular classes, you'll simply be attending our classes instead."

"Thank you Kiyoomi. It'll be starting today so once you grab your materials, you'll be going with them."

"And how long will this be going on?" Toru asked again, sounding a bit annoyed.

"For as long as it needs to." This time, it was Iwaizumi who spoke.

"We shouldn't bother Ms. Sato now, others will start arriving soon so we should take our leave."

"Oh yes of course, have a wonderful day gentlemen."

She was definitely talking to Iwaizumi and Sakusa but whatever. Me and Toru didn't waste any more time before rushing out of there. We were the first ones out the door, Sakusa and Iwaizumi following not too far behind but we didn't really care. It wasn't as if they could actually force us to follow them right?

"For someone whose last name means sugar, she sure is bitter." I heard Toru laughing at my comment, causing me to start laughing as well. That was quickly interrupted as we felt a hand on our shoulders, stopping us in our tracks at the harsh grip.

"You two sure seem to enjoy making jokes about our teachers." We heard someone speak, it sounded like Iwaizumi. Our assumption was correct as we looked back to see him not too far behind us, his brow raised as he met our gazes.

"I highly doubt you're much of a fan of her either." Toru retorted.

"We at least have the decency to respect them." I looked forward to see Sakusa standing in front of us. He watched us with an expressionless face, his eyes slightly narrowed.

"Whatever" I said, rolling my eyes.

"Look, let's get one thing clear, we don't want to be doing this any more than you do but that doesn't mean that we'll be letting you two off the hook." He said taking a step forward.

"So if you know what's best for you, you'll go along with this and not cause any trouble." Iwaizumi's voice seemed to be a lot closer all of a sudden which sent a shiver down my spine, and I could tell just by looking at him, that toru felt the same. We were trapped between the two in an empty hallway, how lucky for us. I could see Toru about to speak but he was instead cut off by Sakusa.

"If the two of you are good, then we can get this over with quickly, so behave."

I don't know what came over me but I didn't have a response. Maybe it was his tone of voice, or the fact that we just couldn't be bothered to argue but we stayed quiet.

"Good." And with that, Iwaizumi let go and walked ahead of us. I could still feel his grip on my shoulder, the feeling lingering for a bit longer than I'd like. I heard Toru let out a quiet breath besides me as we watched the two of them heading off.

"This is gonna be a nightmare."

"Honestly. You think we can annoy them into getting rid of us?"

"Think we'll end up pissing them off into being even more stuck up." I sighed before checking my phone. It was 7:30, other students should be starting to arrive by now.

"Guess you're right." He started walking and I followed along, knowing where he was heading.
