Brooklyn is my character >> jadereedus

Blair is Rezzalia's character.

Enjoy.

Woodbury.

Brooklyn had no idea how she ended up in such an enclosed community with restricted access to almost everything, but she rather liked being there. She was known as the 'lieutenant' or the 'second-in-command' around the town, and everyone looked up to her. To some, she was even known as 'Blue Eyes'. That usually only applied to Merle Dixon, as he wasn't very good at keeping up with names, but people began to catch on with the nickname.

What wasn't to like about Brooklyn?

Her eyes were blue. Not the ordinary sky blue, or the colour of the paint flaking off of the old shed in the back of the field, or even the little flowers that spring up by the side of the road. Her eyes were blue like the sea, crystal clear blue- shimmering and crashing and churning. Looking into her eyes you could hear the waves falling against the shore, see the foam flying into the air. Her eyes were blue like the sky right before the sun disappears- dark rich indigo, with specks of wild colours here and there. Her eyes were blue like that warm wool sweater that you put on when the air gets that chill- comfortable, warm, familiar. Her eyes were that kind of blue.

Her hair was blonde. Long and curly, just like tiny rays of the sun flowing down her shoulders and her back. Her hair was often braided by some of the young children that lived in Woodbury, and Brooklyn rather enjoyed it. She was good like that.

People admired Brooklyn for her courage, and her loyalty to the Governor. Of course, everyone knew he liked Brooklyn perhaps slightly more than she liked him, but she still stuck by his side and kept her loyalty to him.

When the Governor asked Brooklyn to join him in his apartment at noon, she was shocked. Noon was usually the time he went down to study the virus with Milton. Why would he be making an exception for her?

It was rather hot on the day, and Brooklyn had spent the entire morning on watch with Merle Dixon and Caesar Martinez. Martinez, Merle and Brooklyn-or Blue Eyes-were the Governors most trusted allies, and they had all become quite good friends since then.

"The Governor wants you, Blue Eyes," Martinez nudged Brooklyn as the three allies stared over the wall of Woodbury together.

She smiled and glanced over at him, "Do you know why?"

"My guess is as good as yours," Martinez replied to her as he placed the cigarette between his lips.

She wrinkled her nose in disgust at the disgusting silent-killer, "Stop smoking, Caesar."

"I will when you stop calling me Caesar," he winked at her as he blew out a puff of smoke.

Brooklyn nodded at the men politely, slowly made her way down and then darted towards the Governor's apartment. Once she arrived there, she knocked on the door and spruced up her hair. She instantly grinned as the Governor's face met hers.

"Brooklyn," he greeted her with a wide grin spread across his lips.

She nodded at him and tilted her head to the side, "Martinez informed me that you wanted to see me."

"Oh, yes. Come on in," he told her, his southern accent drawling out lowly.

She trailed into his apartment slowly after him and looked around, noticing Milton was hunched over, his face buried inside a book. Brooklyn stood still, her arms crossed over her chest as the Governor poured her a glass of whisky.
